The Castlewellan Christmas Cracker 2024. Is a Cross Country running event in N Ireland each year.
2024 Castlewellan Christmas Cracker Run. The Race took place on Saturday the 28/12/2024 in Castlewellan with the start commencing at 1pm on the Bann Road. The course is approximately eight point five miles long and is multi terrain including forest tracks, fields, grass, mud and tarmac roads with approximately 900 feet of climbing. The race finishes in Castlewellan Park at the end of the race i was able to get an interview with second place finisher Zak Hanna who is a World renowned Mountain runner. The Belfast Shipyard is a long established Ship Yard in Northern Ireland. Many famous ships have been built here including the Titanic the Olimpic and the Nomadic. Fantastic News that the Shipyard has been bought by the Spanish industrial Concern Navanti securing one thousand jobs in Northern Ireland.

I keep promising myself a visit to the Titanic Experience but it has not happened you. Will get there someday. Good vid.
Thank you Gary it is on my doorstep when you watch the video you can see a bloke coming towards me. I thought he was going to chase me lol. But it was him that told me inside the Titanic Hotel which you can see in the video. There is the original White Star Board Room with all the original furniture inside just as it was in 1912 nothing has changed at all even the original doors are there. If i had of know that before i made the video the content would have been so much more interesting but thanks for watching Gary and Cheers.💯

What a prosperous looking town Kilkeel is, absolutely stunning Christmas tree! The war memorial garden is lovely, never knew Capt. Robert Nairac was named on the memorial, the wereabouts of his body has never been disclosed by the provisional IRA, who abducted brutally tortured and murdered him. One of his unnamed killers said he was the bravest man he had ever seen😢 Great video. A staunch wee town!
The autumn colours are lovely even on a dull day. Those sheep were very nonchalant walking past you. Amazing to think a team of men built these dams, lived up there until completion. Nice video.

That is right back in the days all tires where made of rubber is it now at most 5%. Tires now have to go through so many heat cycles to keep you safe. Where we lived you where lucky to have a back tire on your motorbike. I am having a tipple at the moment. Plenty more to come from the Hirk. xxoo❤

No Neven he was not there but about 50 yards away where loads of people sleeping rough in the entrances to shops and offices wrapped up in sleeping bags on the footpath. I think they where migrants i only had 50 pence on me so gave it to a lady. There where loads and loads begging it was not a pretty sight and i was glad to get home as Belfast was covered in a blanket of fog all over the city. Never seen anything like it before. Lefties is only 10 minutes from the Airport in Herclian and if you want to hire out a scooter. You are right beside a scooter shop. Test the tyres out first brakes and put petrol or gas in the tank. My spelling is a bit effy but that is OK. Cheers.
Pity some of the audience could not stop talking during interviews, they might have learnt something! Bikes looked amazing great to see the classic bikes and hear their history, also the newer bikes and details of their performance. A very enjoyable evening was had by alll and funds to worthy causes.
