Get a life-sized cardboard cutout of some meme-worthy celebrity (Danny Devito, Trump, Sanders, whoever) put something on that thrift-find of a wooden table that's a bit 'odd' in view (a weird lamp, an old rotary phone, a framed picture of some random weird celebrity) and finally - get some chalk pens to write the topic of episode title on your giant black fridge (I've used it on windows, it washes off regardless of the surface). Or, do none of that - just get some stuff in that background. I know this all seems dumb, but I've worked in TV and film, and these things draw in viewers. You guys are spaced out a bit on camera, which is fine, but you need to fill that gap with something. Unless you want to go full-on green screen, but I don't think that suits you and it's a bit of a crazy investment at this stage. I would say Shelby needs to sit a tiny bit more centrally, it's like you're trying to avoid being on camera at all hilariously. You have a fun dynamic, are funnier and smarter than you probably think you are - but as much as I hate to say it, you need to employ these techniques to draw in eyeballs. Happily subscribed either way, keep at it.

On topic; why aren't trains a bigger deal in North America? Never understood that. Your trains are awesome, take amazing scenic routes and you don't have to deal with any TSA crap. What's stopping people using them?

I normally enjoy trolling small channels (because it's funny and they always respond) but you guys are actually on-point and interesting. I'd suggest maybe doing something to make the background more interesting? It's a cheap move, but I swear people only watched Larry King because of all those twinkly lights behind him. Either way best of luck, enjoyed the conversation. Rambling is not a bad trait to have in what you're doing. You seem like cool, intelligent people - genuinely.

You guys seem cool, I just want to give you my first impressions and please don't take this the wrong way, I just think it may help. Go out for a run in the sun, sing at the top of your voice, dance like an idiot, do anything to stretch out your body and your spirit, because what I'm seeing is two very subdued humans with tons of potential being wasted to some kind of depression. I am also depressed, I struggle with it immensely, all my life, but I know there are certain things that make it better. You need to get moving around, both physically and spiritually.

I always feel so bad when we go to craft sales/art shows and I have to ask someone the price, but don't end up buying it. Not because I don't think it's not worth it, but we have to go into these things with a budget because we just want to buy everything. Hearing someone scoff at a price makes me want to go through a wall.
