Just dealt with the same, dead tractor battery. Easy to get a replacement at Advance Auto in town. Couple of tractor tips, raise your RPM to at least 540, higher is ok. And turn your blade if you can so rounded side contacts the snow, that way you won't tear up the gravel on your driveway, the blade will skip over the snags.
