You get into the "flow" state of being really imaginatively expressive by 1. really *unconditionally* paying maximum attention (not just in response to stimuli) and 2. *actually* paying attention to an actual thing that can *actually* surprise you, and if you're only seeing stuff that you saw coming, then just look closer, the real world has infinite detail. And 3. people's brain activity always has many different things going on at the same time, you can choose which to interact with (which will then become more imaginative and quickly grow within seconds) and which to deliberately ignore (which will then become less imaginative and quickly shrink). And 4. be socially/emotionally imaginative in what you think of, it doesn't just have to be reacting to stuff or following an instinct that you yourself didn't see coming, you can create any social/emotional reality (vibe) just by imagining it and people will instantly reflect it back and their response and your response to their response on a microsecond level may surprise you enough where it can keep you in that "flow" state indefinitely

@lizzymcalpinelives Been saying for a while now that Lizzy is her generation’s Joni. Pushing form and harmony well beyond what we typically hear in todays scene and forsaking all things trendy for artistic authenticity. Attempting a Joni cover is risky, very few can pull it off. What Lizzy did here sets the benchmark, its just so locked into Jonis musical spirit.
