Bartec USA showcases new Tread-Rite technology at SEMA
Bartec USA, a manufacturer in the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) industry, marked its 20th anniversary at SEMA 2024. Known for its OE roots and reputation as one of the most trusted brand in TPMS, the company has consistently delivered high-quality products with extensive coverage and superior technical support.
Originally focusing on tool manufacturing, Bartec USA expanded its portfolio five years ago to include their Rite-Sensor technology. Its unique Rite-Sync process differentiates it in the market by enabling sensor programming during vehicle service, resulting in fewer errors and higher customer satisfaction.
At this year's SEMA show, Scot Holloway, Bartec's CEO, unveiled its latest innovation Tread-Rite -- a new tread measuring device that wirelessly connects to its newly developed TPMS and tire tread app, available on app stores. Holloway said this tool allows tire technicians to measure and report remaining tire tread on vehicles.

Tire circle jerk
Great information
I made a Continential tire warranty claim after a blowout of a 6 month old tire with no obvious cause. Continential demanded the tire be shipped back to them by the tire dealer for analysis before they would pay any claim. The tire was “lost” in shipping and Continential refused to pay. Warranties are only as good as the company that guarantees them. My experience suggests Continential tire warranties are worthless
Don't forget to mention that the higher the treadwear the harder the rubber and the less grip you will have. Race cars have treadwear down around 50. A car on the street that needs a performance tire should look for a treadwear rating around 240. Grandpa's car should have a treadwear rating of around 800. He doesn't do aggressive driving and he doesn't need his tires to give him that extra grip because he's driving fast in traffic. Buy the tire that suits your needs.
But how do they work?
As a none brand name or discount price loyalist on the second set of Crossclimate2 I look forward to the ice and snow performance. I will make my decision after those reviews since I chose All-Weather tire to perform at their best during the worst conditions I will be in and not warm and fuzzy conditions. So far the Crossclimate2 has been meeting those conditions even compared to the dedicated winter tire X-i3 after 58,500 miles later on the first set with 5mm full depth tread left. Thanks for the video and look forward to further tests on this tire.

wow... this woman is very pretty. excellent choice of spokesperson 👍🏽
Tread depth is a joke for a true mt should be 25 /32 minimum . all manufacturers are doing it and deceiving the customers with marketing fluff to get around whats a dirty secret in the tire industry
Added air to the spare tire on my Tacoma - the TPMS light went off - YEAH
How did you fit Ion evo AS to Model Y?
Just put a set on a customer's car this morning.
Whats your thoughts? Mine come in on Monday and will go on my rav4 hybrid. Rainy here most the year
This is an advertisement and NOT a review!! How much did you get paid!!??
The same lies told to Technicians over and over again. LOL
Man you didn't explain anything. Litterally said driveline vibrations are hard to diagnose. Ise your eyes(didnt saybwhat to look for). Try a 3axis gyro to record the vibration to prove it exist, and dont forget to look at the seals.
i like to know how u get max load number to wat the max load actually is? i mean i look and see a 101, well, that dont tell me squat! just like the max speed letter. if tire has a R that also dont tell me squat. to me its just a letter!
I want to buy these tires for my VW GLI in 225/45R18.
I've been running All Weather tires for a few years. They're great
Cool
At least it wasnt another AI Voice gen Video. Thank You.
When the original Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady (1) was compared to the Michelin CrossClimate 2, the Goodyear performed better in the snow. At that time it was claimed the asymmetrical tread pattern was better than the V-Shape. Now they want to phase out the asymmetrical pattern and shift to the v-shape (which is what Michelin uses). I would like to see a winter condition comparison of the original Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady #1 vs Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady #2 to better understand which performs better in winter. In the meantime, I'm going with another set of the original Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady #1 instead of moving to the WeatherReady#2.
How will they deal with swelling/ stripped/ seized lugnuts? Or when a studs snaps? Too many variables to consider in order to bring these into the mainstream
Or why automatic transmissions suck in one easy lesson. Manual transmissions don't have this problem but you may, may mind you, experience increased clutch wear.

I’m sure Glad I went by my Goodyear dealer to find out about the 2S, I was just about ready to pull the trigger on the higher priced Michelin cross climate 2S . One other tire dealer never even mentioned the 2S to me last week. I think both are great tires for my location in south western Ohio, but with Goodyear coming out second gives them the chance to one up them due to knowing what where there short comings. Also being a retired URW worker I’d rather support my American brothers. I’m even receiving a $60.00 per tire better price! Go Goodyear!
Did Goodyear mention the advantages over Michelin CrossClimate2? Better wet?
Did Goodyear mention anything about sand performance?
Goodyear didn't specifically mention sand. However, based on our experience driving on all-weather tires, our expectations would be that these tires could manage light sand conditions, but are not specifically engineered for optimal performance in that type of environment.
@@TireReview cape cod boy, here been driving on sand -beaches all my life. (50 year) worse tires are those with deep lugs and low profile. the object over sand is to float over the sand not dig in. reducing air pressure is number one priority. 15 to 18 psi. for normal tires. the wider the tire the better. so the tire will "comply" with the sand. that said, the Micheline CC2 have been the best all around tire i have ever run. even on sand. i am about to pull then pull the trigger on the Goodyear weather ready 2s and suspect i will get the same type of performance. in the end skinny low profile tires do not belong over sand. I hope this helps.
I think I'm going to order a set of Camargas based on their website, story and the attractiveness of the tires. Other options were Lexani, Otani, Arroyo, etc. but I like the bull logo!
these are great tires
thanks that was great
Who torques a tpms sensor screw lol?
What about the rolling resistance compared to CC2?
Ever hear of drilling the knuckle bracket on a strut oval to compensate for alignment? Replaced both struts on a 2016 Dodge Journey R/T. When the vehicle was taken to a tire shop for new tires, the mechanic stated that they would have to drill the holes for the knuckle bracket on the strut oval, to align the front end. They stated the top of the tire appeared to stick out in comparison to the fender. They made no reference to camber or lower part of the tire. Myself and others noticed no such thing. There was no instruction from the manufacturer that modification may be needed. I'm also pretty sure this would VOID any warranties.
Most aren't adjustable, so widening holes to adjust is definitely typical. Just not typically required
Neet
2:03 that's interesting
Buying some for my dirty black smoking diesel Toyota Hilux sounds great burning diesel and doing burnouts with these big daddy baggers .
Looks like some modification and possible improvement from crossclimate 2
Rip off of the cc2 design
@@AA-ih6kt dude, this pattern has been around since the 1940's. Every manufacturer has their own version of this. This version has a significant difference in the amount of sipes and how these are multi directional when compared to Michelin's
I have Kumho winter craft on my corolla and they are LOUDbut they are good in the snow and winter rain…..

All my cars have continental tires. i had 10K miles on the tire and it is 6 years old. But there are tires that do not crack like this. Thinking to change the barand now.
Can I changes the definition after increase higher wheels radius using Xentry diagnostic??
Went on their site man they really have sizes for everyone
Thanks. I knew larger tires were detrimental. Now I know the reasons as well! Cars can’t be fitted with tractor tires.
Thomas Barbara Garcia Michael Brown Ronald
Watching this video after change my donut temporary tire to a full size, hahaha , this video is nonsense
These are very smooth and quiet tires
I could take a tire off in a fraction of the time this thing takes a take a tire off lol. Especially on a lift . With an impact and about one minute, I would have that tire off. This thing is still taking pictures trying to decide what socket it needs. I bet I could get all four tires off in the amount of time this thing takes to get one off.
Thanks
