Captain Michael Recycles
Captain Michael sails the turbulent seas of Portage County in search of scalawags who recycle incorrectly. The plank awaits for those who do not heed the Captain's recycling rules. THE ARR IS FOR RECYCLING!!!

มุมมอง 177หลายเดือนก่อน
Portage County CHaRM (Center for Hard to Recycle Material) is a drive-thru recycling option for items that are normally unacceptable in single stream recycling. We served our first Portage County resident on September 18th, 2023. As we approach our one year anniversary here is what we accomplished over the past year.

😂😂
Is the camera for the dead bodies?😅
I have never seen a human body in my hopper camera, but there are a few people who hate recycling enough to put roadkill in their bin. 😔🤮 Thanks for watching!
Awesome skill. Love the motivation.
Thank you!
Thats great
Thanks!
Great job
Thank you

I won’t forget you when Captain Michael goes viral. 🤣 Thanks for your support!
With all do respect to those in the sanitation, waste disposal and recycling industry there is nothing we can't recycle any thing that goes in a landfill can be recycled or processed in to something useful what can't be done is funding the reserch and effort that would be needed to achieve such a goal as zero waste
This is epic 😂
Thank you! I’m working on a whole music video. It might be done for next month.

Recycling to the trash dump
th-cam.com/video/aCqtkJA9e_E/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0wl-DHFUnm71PBoK The recycling from my truck goes to oakwood to be processed. Every truck load has some “contamination” that gets sorted out and sent to a landfill. We have an audit every year to see how much contamination we have. Portage County’s last audit was under 10%. So 90% of my truck load is getting recycled. Thanks for watching!
Guessing it's not your job to get out of truck to do extra work, but certainly appreciate it that you did. Not everything fits in the container s. Keep up the good work!
We have a few elderly or disabled customers that we service. We walk up to their house to get the recycling. As far as cardboard we try to pick it all up as long as it’s broke down small enough to fit in the hopper. We do grumble in the snow and the rain about having to get out of the truck. 😂 Thanks for watching!
Calves so big he's ready to recycle!
Reminds me of slipseating we used to do driving for JB Hunt. Have a tractor for 3 weeks, come home for a few days, then go to the terminal and get in a different tractor that soneone else has beaten the sh*t out of. Boy did i hate working for them back in '92
I am fortunate enough to have gotten a new truck in 2022 but occasionally you have to drive “the spare” when your truck needs repairs. I love my job but it was a 90 degree week and the AC was blowing 109 degrees in the spare. Lol Thanks for watching and thank you for your service!
@@michaelrecycles222 I appreciate that. Be safe out there!
@@michaelrecycles222 I hear ya there!! And I appreciate that. Be safe on the road!
It’s never that way. They pick up the can, drive forward while setting down, tip it over, or drop it 10 feet or more from where it was picked up, drop it in front of your driveway or mailbox. None of these drivers are patient enough to pick it up, dump it and set it right back down from where they picked it up
I always try to put them back close to the same place. Sometimes I have to move them because they are placed under tree branches, power lines or too close to something I don’t want to hit.
thank you for showing us your cool job 😼
Thanks for watching. Best job I’ve ever had!
Damn that's a nice one there!😅😅😅❤❤🎉🎉
What a beautiful sunrise!
Awesome Job! Good Ole Mantua area!❤❤ I can do it in 59 seconds 😅😅😂😂
