When i was 5 my father sat me down and forced me to watch this movie, it scared the living shit out of me, all these years later and i watch it for fun and have a good time analyzing it and reminiscing about that moment when my dad forced me to watch it

Saw this film at 13, a year after I had lost my grandfather and only two months after my family told me how my mother had actually died. I also had just began to realize how many addicts were in my life, and just how bad the cards had been dealt to me. This album and this movie began to really help me understand how to cope with it all, especially when I went through drug abuse in high school. I began to resent everyone around me and when COVID hit, I was literally stuck in my room for months, every day becoming more and more like pink. When my girlfriend left me during COVID, I too said fuck it and hid behind my wall for years, only recently starting to tear it down. If I didn’t have this album during COVID, I don’t think I’d still be here today. God this album is more than a piece of art, it’s a genuine masterpiece
