The Midnight - Explorers
มุมมอง 84ปีที่แล้ว
Earlier this year my dad died. Hidden away in the vast amount of things he left behind was a bunch of Super 8 footage my parents shot in the 1970s and early 1980s. I've edited down some of the film from before I was born to this video set to the tunes of 'Explorers' by The Midnight, which I though was very fitting considering some of the footage. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did putting it ...

Herlig dryppende syrlighet fra 1986 her!

STUNNING SAILING SHIPS IN NORWAY: The Tall Ships Races Stavanger 2018
I have to do this route soon and it catches my attention that you did it on highway E18 and E39. According to Google maps. It is straighter and almost an hour less going through E18 and then E134. Did you choose this route for something in particular? Just to know, I don't know and I'm just going tourism. thank you
Hello Sir, and thanks for the question! I've driven both multiple times, and it depends a bit on time of year, time of day and other factors (like stopping along the way for something in particular). Generally I find that the mountain route along E134 and FV450 is the fastest if you start very early in the day or you're not driving in the worst holiday traffic months (basically late June, July and first half of August). If you're driving during the summer months previously mentioned or during winter when the some of the mountain roads might even be closed, then I find E18 and E39 the fastest. I've never ever experienced that a combo of E18 and E134 (which I'm guessing is similar to the one I'm thinking of as E134 and FV450) is faster by an hour or anything like that unless it's completely without traffic. That will not be the case at this time of year going east to west. I drove FV450 and then E134 approx. 3 weeks ago from Stavanger to the Oslo area, but I started very early in the day so I knew I wouldn't hit much traffic until I got to Dalen/Seljord. Then it's fine. Going from east to west I don't think you'll be able to start early enough to avoid the traffic issues along the Suleskard (mountain) road.
@@jmofalltrades Thank you very much for such a detailed explanation. I see that depending on the time, Google Maps calculates the same time for the routes, and it must be because of what you mentioned about the traffic. so I think I'll listen to you and do this same route. I can't leave so early, since my flight arrives early in the morning to Oslo and I have to get some sleep before leaving. This will be the first route in total. I intend to visit Oslo, Stavanger, Geiranger, Âlesund, Lillehammer and finish in Oslo again

I just got these boxes and they're AMAZING for my Alex drawers however I'm just shocked at their price of $16 for a some damn paper boxes.
They won't get any closer than him and then I'm far from sure it's him. The whole investigation is a scandal. I'm Swedish by the way.
Thank you for the video, it was nice to see how it fit visually. Wish it was included on the IKEA website but alas..

This gives me the chills. Ted Bundy Chills.
It probably shouldn’t - experts and the public are for once in agreement and they agree that Stig Engström is most likely just an overexcited and dramatic witness, and not the assassin. Ofc there are exceptions; prosecutor Petersson amongst other. But nothing suggests Engström is the killer and there are significant reasons to believe he is not.
@@JaKommenterar No, people are not in agreement. In a recent study 19 % believed Stig was the murderer, 19 % believed he was not and 62 % was not sure.
@@ZwhatshQ No, you are misreading the data - so 81% agree that there is significant doubt that he is the assassin - ie majority are in agreement that the Palme assassination is *not* solved
Ted Bundy chills, why? You should have more chills for me then. Assassin or not, I would rather choose this man as a politician than the clowns we have now in the Swedish parlament. Think of how much blood Swedish politicians have on their hands by bringing multiculturalism to Sweden. Maybe you’re not from Sweden but I can tell you that we have most death shootings by Swedish gangsters on the street, in EUROPE! Thanks a lot, politicians, because these gangsters are not ethnic swedes and it matters a lot which ethnicities we have as it’s linked to cultures and cultural values.

I wish i`d understand a single word. The Palme murder case is such a fascinating story. I remember that i heard of his assasination when i was a boy of 9 years and of course i didnt realise the impact. So many years later i begin to understand why many people were mourning for Olof Palme.
I'll see if I can add some subtitles for you in the not-so-distant future :-) ;-)
@@jmofalltrades That would be very kind of you but in order for me to understand all those documentaries dealing with this case, i"ll better start to learn Swedish.
@@lars33070 He's saying that if the police wants to solve the puzzle then they can't be that clever if they're removing pieces of the puzzle which they know belong to it. He is referring to himself as piece of puzzle. Pretty much mocking the police if in fact he is the killer.
@@Dwka1 Thanks for the translation. I personally doubt that Skandiamannen was a key figure, there seems to be no motive apart from his opposition to Palmes policy in general. He enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame.
Lars Hornung Could very well be so. Its what the police at the time thought. He has a lot of things talking against him though. He fits the description from 11 witnesses, he had access to weapons and no witness can collaborate his version of what he did at the scene. Supposedly talking to Palmes wife and putting Palme in a recovery position. Not to mention he committed suicide years later
