The Yamaha Waverunner start/stop switch has been produced for over 30 years and used on almost every Waverunner model ever produced. It is infamous for being a key culprit in a Waverunners no start condition, and probably the most common problem you can find. Thats why it’s important to maintain your start/stop switch to avoid drying out of the rubber grommet found inside.

This procedure is super simple, and is the only maintenance item (appart from wheels and breaks) on this car! Any one can do it! It is just a little hard to find a T-90 torx as that are quite rare and soecialized. The desecation filter can usually be found at the parts counter of your local Mercedes-Benz dealership (stealership).

Short video of my neighbours mid 90s Volta seer. They were used by french electrical companies in the 90s. This one somehow got over to Canada where it sat in a company yard for over 10 years. It was at one point street legal but need to undergo inspection before getting it back up and running!

Canadian version of the legendary/ bws’s R / Prebug Zuma / MBK Booster in a rear colour. Almost mint shape despite 21,000 klics on the clock. 100% stock. Love this thing.
I need help the previous owner rounded plastic star I can’t unscrew it with the correct tip. How can I remove this? Pls advise thank you.
How do you reset the MAINTENANCE DUE IN 15 DAYS message?
Turn the key to "on" but not to the "start" position. As soon as you see the screen below your gauges light up, press the button on the left side of the gauge cluster twice in rapid succession. Quickly turn the key to the off position following this step. wasting no time, hold that button down firmly (the same one left of the gauge cluster) then turn your ignition key back to on while continuing to hold that button down firmly. After about 10 seconds or so, the screen will say something along the lines of "next service in xx,xxxx miles/km". It took me 10 tries to get it to work, so don't fret if it doesn't work the first time.
Where did you find this part, and how easy is it to fix
Ebay! Easy just plug it in and pass the wiring through.
I have a 2018 and there is a plastic pan covering the bottom of the battery, and the cartridge is not visible. Still searching the web to find out how I do what use to be so simple in the older Smart EVs. Any help out there?

Ha! Great question, the desication cartridge absorbus humidity, and thus prevents corrosion for forming inside the battery compartement. This is very improtant as lithium batteries and water do not mix. It is important to change it every two years as per the manufacterers spcifications in order to prevent moisture buildup inside the battery.

Very fine, intelligent Car/Mini-Van, should have been built in Masses, vey useful and practical, e.g. for Repair Work or Food Delivery or such!!! would really like to get/buy One , for sure! ven with Lead-Acid-Batteries useul Performance/range/speed/Acceleration how muchh better 8a Rocket?!) with Li Battery, e.g. LFPLonglife-Batt?!!!!!

Thanks man I feel the same way. Tons of 14 year olds destroying these things out there. Thats why original are going up in value. This one will be preserved!
