the detail of this video. Thank you!
Alvin is got a fully working frm but vin code missing. Can i do only this coding without the need to go with ncsexpert
Hi, i understand you wrote in the description which line to change, but where do i change it?
How did you take out the oil return line? That’s the part I’m stuck on if there’s any video u recommend to look at plz lmk thanks
The oil return doesn't have to be removed, just disconnect it from the pcv. I left the hose connected to the oil pan since I didn't have specialty tools.
Sound like dr Dre did some soundtracks for rockstar..🔥🔥🔥
Hey, Thanks for your contribution..
FWIW: I used a pick to release the ridges on the hose (th-cam.com/video/p5HGLpuRWiU/w-d-xo.html) instead of trying to squeeze to release as this was impossible to do for me because of the tight space. With the pick it was kind of easy. Thank you for taking your time to put this very detailed video together.
I meant the valve cover PCV hose at th-cam.com/video/p5HGLpuRWiU/w-d-xo.html in my comment.
A very great thanks for sharing that, it is very helpful
I broke the wire from the junction box to the crank case sensor under the starter on my 325i 2006 BMW. Can you do a video to replace the wire to the sensor?
Thank you for posting because I was starting to have concerns it was something worse.....
If Rockstar would've listened, they wouldn't have to be obsessed with GTAO/GTA6 and RDR2.
Show me how inhave enebled welcome light but doesnt do anything
I don't recommend this video because of what happens when you have to do it for the first time. I'm sorry, but I'm being honest. There was a situation when the starter had to be changed, in the yard, without experience. If you had used this video, then there is nothing to do in reality. There are no nuances! This is essential! Dude, don't fool the people.
Pl
Have had this noise for a while now thank you kinda sounds like crickets 🙏🏽
ME 412 and the Zonda easily the 2 best cars in the game
Why you didnt film in wich way you open thant bolt? You push towards pasager side or driver side
Thank you for sharing..very informative..I replaced the starter, and entire PCV system, there is very little room to work with especially the upper and lower PCV hose, your video helps tremendously.
Continental bought VDO some years ago, it the same. Nice vid. Going to do the same. Any performance difference ?
Great video! Quality picture, well lit and clear instructions! Thank you so much 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Sounds similar to a 340i start up.
I would use a K&N filter instead and intake boot mod aswell.
Also add the IAT relocation kit so you don’t get the effects of heat soak. Maybe some air scoops too.
Is there a problem if vin is not matching with the car?
Damn i love 240p quality This thing is pure nostalgia
Hello bro nice video... Can you help please i i have e46 i change the engine because before was n42 i swipe to m54 and i change the ecu and the ews ... But i not change the cluster but few months ago my cluster dead so i changed. Now im trying to return the original mileage... If you can help me with that .. please bro
Do this issue causes the "Please format sd card" ? it appears as if the micro sd card reader couldn't mount properly the memory.
Thank you , confirming my alternator is my issue
Awesome thorough video, will be watching again for manifold removal . Thank you
I found that rubber grommet hanging around when I removed my front bumper it wasn’t until I saw this video that I figured out what that was lol . Thanks
Thank you so much
Very helpful... thankyou... kind regards....John
Hey friend did you fix this problem, i have the similar problem :) ?.
Yes, replace the alternator decoupler pulley
Very well done and informative. Thanks!
Highly valuable video. The care and precautions you took (the labeling, the reiterating of what goes where, etc.) absolutely saved me in terms of reassembly AND confidence that I was connecting the right sensor or connector to the right port. Invaluable to the rescuing of me from my overconfidence when taking the whole thing apart for the first time to replace the Crankshaft Sensor just underneath the Starter. I am thankful there are people who have brains that think and work like yours! I am stunned by the lack of traffic this video has received. Well done, Sir. Hail To You, Champion! 2007 BMW 530xi
I have an Viofo A119 v1 that has the same issue. Disappointing given I bought it in May 2017. Now my A119 v2 is doing the same. Purchased in Oct 2019. So I get about 2 years of service. It would be nice if they made that battery easy to replace but obviously they would rather you just buy a new one.
Yes, the camera in the video is a v1. I’m not sure if the newer versions fixed the issue but I also have the v2 and v3.
@@me4I2 I also have both v2 & v3 now. I'm going to try to replace the battery in the older one. The batteries are easy enough to find online but they have to be soldered onto the main board.
Forgot this for the IKE module swap as it is faulty. Thanks.
Hi Alvin. thank you for the video. I have been bating to code R50 2002 mini cooper vin and mileage. I see you got R50 and the rest of the minis in INPA, how did you that. Can't find how to do it, but managed to add R50, R56 to winkfp and Ediabas but not INPA itself. Any help please, also what file to use to change vin for R50, sorry I am new in using these> Thank very much in advance!😊
It came with the software package I downloaded around the time I made the video. You might be able to find it on mini specific forums.
not looking forward to that job.
Not really sure there's a good firmware fix for this.
I don't know if you mean that no fixed firmware exists (probably true) or if you mean that this can't be addressed in firmware (which is debatable). If the firmware were designed better, it would check if a date has been explicitly set, and if not, assume the date is invalid and rely on file numbering instead. The current behavior where the camera silently does not record is the worst possible design.
Have this problem w istap error 10007 cip..initialization fault w ediabas help.....
Was the sound intermittent ?
No, it was constant.
@@me4I2 did it make the same sound every time ? Even cold start or warm start?
I’ve got this noise when engine getting hot but it’s intermittent.. trying to solve the issue this week
@@dicappa.7298 hey did you fix the problem?
@@BlackKamikaza yes, it was the belt tensioner pulley
My friend: Thanks a lot for taking the time to make this detailed video, I just recently replaced the valve cover gasket and I broke the breather hose in the back of the cover, I spent about a two hours trying to release the lock and finally I to break it. That hose is a really pain in the back to get it free, the valve cover gasket replacement is a intensive labor. job and on top of that I had te remove the intake manifold to replace the hose. Y wonder hect time if a could buy a piece of copper tube, split it in half and use the two
…and use the two halves to keep the notches unreleased while pulling the hose out with two hands.
ME412, 300A, and 300C looks nice!
Bro I have the same noise
Nice vid which I watched after I had done this job myself! Only pointers I would add are that you probably want to replace the whole CCV and all hoses at the same time as you don't want to be doing this job twice! plus as you pointed out the hoses often break when you try and take them off. For UK prices: £250 for CCV and 3 hoses (BMW) plus £140 for starter (Denso). Removing the torx screws to the bracket for the junction box is the best idea for removal as you said but then I removed the bracket from the box after that and screwed it back on to the manifold then once the manifold had been reinstalled its much easier to just clip the junction box back onto the bracket rather than wrestle with the torx screws in a tight space again. I didnt bother removing the studs from the cylinder head but as you say it might be easier of you do. I didn't bother removing the power steering fluid tank or bracket but I did remove the fuel hose from the rail end (release pressure from rail first an have a cloth ready to soak up excess fuel) I found that I needed to remove the little junction box at the back of the manifold (with the four plugs) as I was not able to get to it to unclip the cables when the manifold was coming out, I could just about get to the two torx screws holding it in place though. Also note when reinstalling that the bottom hose to the crank case has to go behind the main power cable going to the starter, probably better to attach the top end first but I did this bottom end first which did make it quite difficult to get the top end connected once I had the manifold back near its final resting place. the other hose is also going to be easier to connect to the CCV first and then the valve cover second but again I did this the other (wrong) way around so it is still possible both ways. Also don't forget to note how all the wires route when youre taking it apart, especially the power to the injectors which has to thread up through the manifold.
Thank you very much. Now I can do it myself 🙂
how do you know if its the pulley or just the alternator? I have a very similar sound, not sure if its the bearings inside the alternator or just the pulley.
If it's making a similar sound, try the pulley first since it's the easiest to get to.
@@me4I2 thanks, that was my first thought but my alternator is ancient and my battery safety terminal blew a while back mysteriously so I figured I might as well just replace the whole thing, it's gotta get done soon anyway
@@felderosa Definitely, if your alternator is in bad shape, it's best to replace it while you are in there to save time/labor. This fix applies if the alternator is still in good shape and is charging properly.
I had my suspicions about the alternator being the culprit, everything sounds so smooth with the belt off. My wifes 328i has had this for 2 years now, and it's started bothering me. Cheers!
That's good to know. It's a cheap repair that make a big difference.
I heard the belt can slip off the pulley due to oil leaks or bad tensioner and it gets chewed up by the crank and tears thru the front main seal and blocks the pickup
Yes, there have been cases of belt in the oil pickup. It's a preventative maintenance item.
What is checksum? When me have this VIN what is my checksum? What i need to write there? WBAVA71000VA40284
It should show up when you connect your car in NCSexpert. Just write it down and transfer it to Winkfp.
