1. What seems simple can sometimes be quite challenging! When I was selecting a school for Shaila, I was thrilled to find one just across the street. However, after reaching out, I discovered it was more focused on the local community, which might make it hard for Shaila to fit in. So, we quickly decided against enrolling her there. In the end, everything turned out to be just right for us!

Choosing a name for our baby was quite the adventure, even though we never felt any pressure from our parents. We tossed around a lot of ideas, but ultimately, we realized that the one thing we both shared was our love for the mountains. When our daughter was born, the doctor joyfully announced, “Shaila has arrived!” P.S. Shaila means daughter of mountains.❤

Children acquiring languages is a beautiful thing to observe. Get a notebook and note down all the funny things he says! (Hopefully in six languages). I like the effort you are putting in learning konkani - it really is not easy, given that almost everybody speaks Hindi or English in Goa, but that's the spirit! Aur french zarur sikhayenge, tum tinon ko :D

The point about the trauma the child faces once they go back to the hostel is so valid!! . I remember we would cry for 2-3 days and things would get back to normal. It feels like the cry it out method the west uses to put their children to sleep 🥲

Haha! I can see… siblings really are cut from the same cloth! Not too long ago, I saw my husband trying to handle our mischievous 3-year-old. He did his best to keep things under control, but my little troublemaker made it quite the challenge 😂. I swear, kids have this knack for acting up when their moms aren’t around! 😂 Big shout out to all the moms out there! You’re all incredible for juggling those little monsters while managing the house and everything else!

This video is so relatable! I've been doing yoga for about a year and a half now, and my daughter, who was 2 at the time, would watch me every day. At first, she just copied me for laughs, but now she joins me every morning. Honestly, her poses are way better than mine! Somehow, she’s picked up on the idea of what’s “healthy” and “unhealthy,” including things like exercise and food.

It's pretty adorable to hear a toddler chatting in different languages, but I've come to see just how much their little minds are soaking up and understanding all that info!

I totally agree! I do the same with my 3-year-old! She not only picks up Hindi and English but also Punjabi and Bengali. Now she even knows which language to use with different people!

Wow I relived 2 years of my trauma here😢

Boarding school taught me discipline, made me independent, and widened my world view by showing me varied perspectives very distinct from my own. On the cons side the lack of warmth and attention from the designated caregivers, the second class citizen treatment meted out to girls were some of the remnants of my boarding school experience.

Just the other day I was talking about boarding schools and now I am watching your vlog. Lawl.
