Was sad to see the Whittier location close. Lived up around the corner from it as a kid. Great place for food and fun.
I miss u so much and i dont know why;((((
in another video on milkshakes from Bob’s, David says in those 7 years, only 3 shakes were perfect & hr dumpster dove to retrieve the milkshake mix container to discover the ingredients are SHIT, Big Surprise Bob. You can count on corporate america to take a simple recipe like a milkshake (5 ingredients) and fuck it into a paragraph of processed garbage for mass consumption. How much do they spend to be cheap & sell food product vs selling real food? All with the Stamp of USA & stoopid mascot for lazy minded dupes & boot lickers who think caring about ingredients is pretentious.
Love your milkshakes too. I also love that this is posted by Big Boy's.
I worked at a Bob's Big Boy in Michigan i would also hang out there with my Cult group called PDAP.
Any ingredient that ends in "zine" is a dye, and should be avoided.
Everything ended in "-zine" or "-ate" lol
1:33 Is that the inspiration of "there is a man" scene from Mullholand Drive also, isn't?
I got that vibe as well
David Lynch ❤ RIP
Hello!
RIP to a real one.
My guy❤ 😢 Will be miss
My mam
RIP to one of the greatest to do it.
That’s about $7.00 in 2025
Used to go with my mom in those days. Too funny!
I’m pretty sure all of those fords broke down on the way
The Rotisserie and the Tea Room sound really fun, as well as this Drive In! Welp, Eve catches on quickly. And if it was 1976, maybe they'd make her a team Manager... and maybe she could have helped out that easily distracted nail biting gum chewing and talky Patsy with the needed Pep Vim Vigor and Prompt Service!
Eve's victory rolls and sharp black and white Hat and great skirt suit as she comes in to apply for the job !!!
Love to know how to make the Red Relish at home, im gonna go look that up!
Eve looks great the other girl applicants look like that rather be in our time dressing like prostitutes.
Cool video, I love Bobs Big Boy in Burbank, great breakfast, and spaghetti with chili.
How cool is that!
Great movie and cool scene shot at Bob's Big Boy, now I'll have to re-watch the movie. I ate at the Bob's Big Boy in Burbank several times with John Draper aka Captain Crunch that used a Captain Crunch whistle and a blue box using. 2600 hertz frequency to make free phone calls in the 1970's.
How cool is that, we all have to start some where in our careers in the beginning.
A wonderful piece of postwar America nicely preserved.
This being on the actual Bob’s channel is amazing.
Seems more like a fan of the restaurant who posts a clip from any podcast or movie or whatever that mentions it
scanned the QR code in the place lol
So you know red relish with mayo is deconstructed Thousand Island, right?
Red relish like Apple Pan.
I remember the establishment in the Lawrence Shopping Center in Lawrence Twp. New Jersey in 1975.
lard lad from simpsons looks like bob's big boy
Lard Lad is supposed to be based on Big Boy
Good old days
So very true. The 80s were the absolute best!
That was my favorite at bobs when i worked at the renton, wa location i always had mashed with gravy with also, its unique and GOOD!
When I saw big boy in this ad I may have well jumped up and screamed. What a cameo
My first restaurant love as a child was Bob's Big Boy in Baltimore. I wish I could afford a trip to Burbank to see the OG so badly. Or to franchise one myself.
I just went to the one in Norco CA and it’s still doesn’t disappoint. It’s so delicious.
A question when the beatles were there did john lennon slap around the waitresses because they got his order wrong?
These old episodes are just a couple steps away from being lost media. I wish the whole series was available.
I agree.
@thegroove14 sucks because today's food shows are nowhere near as good as these were
🤩🤩🤩 #BobsBigBoy
Jesus Inflation! Wish it was still $1.99
Who were those two guys in this particular ad from the late '70s?I remember seeing it when it came out in the late '70s.I believe they were a comedy team,
Yes, I remember them pairing up for all kinds of different radio spots too.
The F-Series Generation 💯💯😍, I'm from south africa and I'm loving this Ad
Awesome!👍
Come on bro I didn’t even see one ranger
I think I seen one @ 0:55
This dude just needed a beer in hand and he would be the American version of Brit cook Keith Floyd
Someone should remix this with the SZA song
What song? lol
Best job ever!!😂😂
Bob's Big Boy
Lmao I work at big boy and not even the side salad alone costs $1.99
I remember going as a kid in the early 2000s and it was good and wasn’t super expensive. Are they still that expensive now? I totally believe it though, everything is expensive nowadays. And around like 2013 it seemed like the prices skyrocketed. I wasn’t alive for the “glory days” of bobs big boy, but my dad told me it used to be good right up until the mid 90s. And that it’s not nearly as good as it used to be (and is also overpriced). To be fair the food was decent when we had gone in the early 2000s but from 2013+ it seemed like it wasn’t as good. Maybe it was just our location that wasn’t super good? It was here in Victorville and closed around 2016.
