An unexpected psychological thriller, perhaps one of the first as nuns in the Himalayas try to establish a monastery. Things don't work as the balance of vows to God and temptation clash. A surreal great movie. #sabu #blacknarcissus #nickyousoufian nickisyousofine #thriller psychological

Adding more to the French New Wave, I review arguably the premiere film Breathless. A lot of dialogue, nihilism, and running from the cops, this is an unusual, but fantastic movie. #breathless #moviereview #nickyousoufian #nickisyousofine #newwave #frenchnewwavechinema #french #romance #nihilism #alphaville #jeanlucgodard

I would've never watched this movie unless Ira requested it as I know nothing about Spawn, nada. I really wanted to like this film but found that Peter Billingsley and the actual game part was the best. Everything else was just mediocre and even at 81 min. this movie is one I don't recommend. A dang funny film of an alien that crash lands in Harlem and explores the city. Joe Morton from Terminator 2 gives a great Charlie Chaplin-esque performance as he doesn't talk and barely grunts. Thank you 😃
This movie very underrated it should've gotten nominated for a acouple of oscars especially for joe morton
@@MIKESMOVIECORNERANDMORE I agree 100%.
I remember when this came out. Wild movie
@@williamturner6673 Indeed. The arcade montage and stop motion impressed me.
@NickIsYouSoFine Wierd thing is I was just thinking about this movie a few days before I came across this.

its so ridiculously good 😂
Gosh what a great film 😅 (the ninja priest lol!) Also, 1st Like on your video! 😊
You should check out 1997 Todd McFarlane’s Spawn. It’s bad but I love it

@TrekCannon Oh heck yeah! Ironically I'm watching DBZ Frieza arc right now.

Rock of ages has a good selection of cds i live a ways away but go there all the time
That mall doesn't have very much!!!
Yep it's become desolate and barely standing. I visit it once every couple of months and get a feeling of kenopsia (the feeling that something once populated is now empty).
Great review.
This is a mall that I’m surprised is even still open! Those 1950s-1960s era malls were built during a different time and demographics have changed dramatically since then. Northland, Southland, Westland and Eastland… Back when Detroit was something quite impressive and before urban sprawl went nuts.
I moved and haven't been back to Michigan in ten years, but I'm really glad Rock of Ages is still around. I went there pretty much every weekend for twenty years. I remember being like 15 and helping people find stuff like I worked there. #1 reason I watched this video was to see if that 10 cent bin was still there. I used to try to get my hand to the bottom of it without getting stabbed by pins. :D
I live walking and biking distance from this mall and honestly I'm surprised it's even still open. I think online shopping is partially to blame.
@jacobmccorry125 Yeah I agree with the online shopping. I've seen the decline just like you and yeah, it's not doing so great.
Vlogger making vertical videos. Derp!
@@zonsius Not my greatest video. I learned from it.
I used to live at the Landings and at one time worked at the Olga's and the Panera. It's sad to see it like this. I believe a couple of years ago there was a shooting?
@stellarsky1 There have been many reasons why. The arcade, FYE, anchor stores, etc disappearing are big ones. That and online shopping. And the shooting I believe that happened.
The ‘PS’ store was Pac Sun
Ah okay thanks for clarifying.
You?? And canadian drama??? Hey something different tho. Sounds promising
is this Michigan? or Ohio?
Michigan.
Very sad that my hometown Mall is dying, Loved going to Westland Mall in the late 1960's through 1970's into the early 1980's.
It used to be a fantastic mall. I have fond memories of the 1990s and 2010s there myself. But once the FYE closed, shoot it declined dramatically. I know the pain.
Great review!
Thanks man!
Got this! It’s fab! Thanks Nick! 🤘😎🤘
Is this available on Streaming?
Man, hard to believe what’s happened to this place. I used to love this place
Yeah and now it's kenopsia (feeling of being empty). What the heck will happen to it is in fates' hands.

Man this place was booming 10 years ago. Wish the mall was still like that.
Yeah it was booming then. But now it's a shell of itself.

Kreator RULES TRUE THRASH
There are more swears in french than any other language I would say ...
Please..don't just buy boxsets because others in groups like them and they're "fancy". Follow your interests. Not Pardo, Aston or whomever.
You need to do better on these. Stop just reading the box and showing the fancy packing. You need to listen to the music and talk about it. How does it make you feel, how does it evolve, what are the tracks and albums to check out? You aren't reviewing, just unboxing.
Thanks for the suggestions - much appreciated.
Awesome review and thanks for the shout out 👍 Out of 10, what number do you give it?

One thing I don’t get about vampire tropes is, the moon light is just the sun light reflecting off the moon. In that sense wouldn’t all the vampires die/become weakened when they’re in the moon light? Maybe I’m just looking into it a little too hard.
