The hole is reduced at the bottom to prevent water going in from below when you splash on a pond. Part of the maintenance done at dealers include cleaning and blowing off all drains. Just do the maintenance it needs and think that if it worked fine when new, it can and should work fine, so just clean all venta and drains and you will be fine.

AC doesn't make water. What drips from your car when using AC is condensation. That much water in the carpets and from the blower is very odd. I'd think the sunroof or the windshield seal is probably to blame (and rain) !!! I have an old S10 Blazer which regularly floods the floor when it rains Also, my '08 Enclave (which I've had since new) doesn't do this!

You can hear when water is collecting in the ventilation system long before it creates a big problem. Unfortunately most people procrastinate addressing the problem and this is the result. These drains have been standard on most vehicles from every manufacturer since air conditioning was added to cars more than 50 years ago!

I also just got a clk 350 and i have to replace the thermostat and fix my rear speaker. How did you fix your speaker? My speaker rattles whenever I play loud bass music. Also i have the same problem with the seatbelt aswell. If you find a fix to it pls lmk. thx

And your sun roof drains(under the 2 pillars closed to the window) will also leaks and burn out your factory radio amp. And your electrical connectors inside the door(connecting the speakers and window motors) will also get filled with water during rainy days and short circuit window switch.

Y’all I just had to fix dis issue the best thing to do is get a car plug in air pump got the that hose on the driver side and pump air into it Botha ways so that’s it clears all dirt and stuff then for the blower motor unplug it take it off use a hair dryer to dry it out the casing as well let it sit for like 5 mins after drying it then plug it back up and it should work perfect I got a 2012 enclave and trust me it will save I so much money

You need to clean-the gun first!!!
