How can I Replace the Piston boots Can you Give me Idea thanks
@@alvinignacio2182 hey , when it come to piston boots its a very tricky because if there is tears chances are water and debris sipped in. The easiest thing is to replace.
I fixed the problem by buying another system
Hey, how does this improve the sound of the A9? It’s an interesting idea, even though you have more wires than just the A9. Do the height channels still work like before? Because the Ta only supports 2 height channels.
@@Mroggenland Hey, no the A9 speakers are now used for front (R)/(L) - rear R/L. I did not connect the height speakers. The new set up sounds amazing, way better than the HTA9 because of the full control. Il be making a video soon about the new setup soon, stay tune.
pleaes let me know any fix is there for the TREBLE it as bass but it lacks treble there is no settings as such .. sound is not that sharp
@@SevenSeas2cross There is no settings for the HTA9, equalizer is preset from factory. The sound quality is not bad is just missing bass.

Damn dude you could have made like a little cooling box or something with a fan in it, didn't have to cut a hole in the thing lol
This seems like a really great idea and I appreciate your video. Our Window A/C unit was installed by the landlord's mechanics and it's sealed and painted in pretty squarely. I don't really think uninstalling it would be a great option at this point. Do you have any ideas what can be done to eliminate/reduce light on a window a/c unit without uninstalling it? I was thinking for instance, taping with aluminum foil the inside parts of the styrofoam that I can reach (though it wouldn't be totally effective).
@@michaelfujimoto8006 i think it’s the best solution at this point. Since you can’t remove it.
@@davidyebvlogs Thank you.
David thanks for this video I will try out soon. The issue with dropouts I'm experiencing ONLY occurs when someone in the same room is moving around. When no one moves the dropout issue doesn't occur at all. This is fixed temporarily when I turn RF channel OFF / ON, but re-occurs after a while. It also helps if I unplug / plug the HUB.
But does anyone know of a brand that simply doesn't allow in all that light to begin with?
Hi Thanks very much for showing this video, but when I put the volume up more than 30 db the Sony sub will lose the wireless connection and both sub’s bass will not work unless I unplug and plug back the Sony sub. So do you know what to do to fix this issue? Thanks for your help.
I have a solution! Eye mask. Lol, but great vid!
I can't stand eye masks while sleeping. This will work much better!
I have 3.1 channel soundbar and subwoofer So I want to add extra rear speakers it possible or not plz tell me bro
it will work, but remember your not adding more channels but rather extending it. ppl have done it including me, it work great.
Hi , I have a JBL SB271 220W Soundbar which has a wireless subwoofer. I want to add one more subwoofer to it as it just have a lower bass . So any suggestion ?
you can try to add a wired subwoofer 🔊, connected to the wireless sub like I did. it will work
can u name ani wired subwoofer for sound bar
i dont think there is any, it either it comes with it or it’s a soundbar that it sold separately with a subwoofer 🔊. or else they pair with each other.
good video. Thanks for the heads-up👍
try to turn the box over🤣
Lol
Thanks for the video, didn’t know about the heatflow. I use a Hue SyncBox, is it better to plug the ps5 into sync box - sync box into hta9 - tv, or just plug the hta9 into the tv?😅
Nice video, except that it is way too dark. One cannot even see most of the content in the video.
Since they have the latest update it screw up all the connection settings, that’s quite hurting making a hole on your tv stand, with the idea you did, i bought a laptop cooling fan, and will connect it on my ps5, i placed my sub underneath the Tv stand in front of the TV, definitely loving this HTA9 , every time i watch movies or listen to music it feels like you’re in the theatre.
STOP!! 1: Please dont attach any powered speakers to a soundbar in this way. 2: Please dont attach any passive speakers to a soundbar in this way 3: 2 cars travelling at 30mph does not equate to 60mph! STOP!! If you value your life do not do this silly hack. You power supply will heat up, and your volume wont be any louder - its a scientific fact.
Hi! There is a fan inside the A9 box. Maybe it's faulty? Can you hear that it works? Another solution is to put feet on the unit, enough height so it doesn't gather heat and since the unit already has its own fan, this should work. Another solution Is if you turn off all wifi and Bluetooth units in the room then turn on the A9 units and let them play a movie for about 5 min. Then turn on the wifi, this way the wifi will find other channels for wifi use as it will see the A9 already uses some channels and will avoid them in the future. No need for a restart. Also, why don't you use the eARC for your units?, just connect everything to your tv, the tv handles all and passes through Atmos and DTS x to your A9. This way you don't overload the A9 box with a 4k and HDR signal, maybe that's why the box gets hot? Anyway, cheers and good solution!
The reason it cuts out, Is because it's wireless.
No shit!😂 I've been using wireless speakers for a long time, they cut out because of 2.4 GHz signal disturbance. Too many wifi units in the room or usb 3 drivers will cut out the sound for sure .
Hi David , your video is very impressive, I am facing little problem, I am having a boat Avante 2000 Subwoofer wireless bluetooth 2.1 version. Not getting connected to other soundbar , I order "Zebronics Ace Plus Wireless Soundbar with 30W Output, Dual Passive Radiator, RGB Lights,Built-in Rechargeable Battery, Bluetooth 5.1,Coaxial Input, AUX, FM Radio, USB, mSD, TWS Function". What should I do to pair with subwoofer? Should I try to follow the process to showed in video, ? if am not having any wired speaker or soundbar can I connect through Aux wire to connect with subwoofer soldering. Please give your suggestion 🙏
Hey I will look into it and get back you soon
Not matching the correct ohms to the soundbar amp is going to destroy it
I was wondering about this.
If he wired them in series, it wouldn’t matter. But, that wouldn’t add any volume. It would add sound in a direction or area that sound wasn’t directed previously.
David, no disrespect, do yourself a favour, watch Eric O from "South Main Auto repair"one of the best automotive youtubers on the planet. Lot of info on greases, silicon grease and compounds. Also lots of simple tricks and procedures to make DIY a success..
Does he supply you tube mechanic patch? lol
@@domenicdebellis4137 lol no...
Definitely worth a try. Can you keep proving updates on the solution via the comments below. I always had a feeling it was because of too many devices in the room and the router being close by. I keep devices limited in the room and the router has been moved which pretty much worked for a long time but recently the cut outs are back. If you provide an update maybe a month from today, I may just get a laptop cooling pad and place the connect box on it.
Try unplugging the device and plunging it back. Turn Off the RF and turn it back on again. Put the playback quality to CONNECTION also, keep your device cool.
Is there a solution to this problem?
Il say try to keep your A9 cool and updated. playback quality to CONNECTION and eARC on. Now cross your fingers 😀
Do you have the expensive subwoofer and is it worth it?
Yes, I did BUT il say it’s missing a little bass in my opinion. Watching movies it’s great you hear it more, I wish SONY made an update where you can control the Bass/Treble or speakers 🔊 level volume. The Subwoofer has alot of potential and you can feel it can be more. The only issue is the you can’t control the level input of it and the four speakers out shines it. However the Subwoofer W5 is powerful but we need an update where we can increase the frequency that will honestly make it worth it.
Had mine about 6 weeks ..lots of drop outs. The RF on off can work but is not consistent. However the last week... No drop outs! I don't think anything works. It's random. One day you think it's fixed next day it's back!
Hey, your not wrong. Thank goodness for now it’s working fine for me. Try playback quality to CONNECTION after doing the RF thing and turn eARC ON. thanks for your comments have a good one.
Check your UPDATE IS up to date, because if you STILL have the OLD Update you will still have sound skips. If it says your up to date unplug the system wait 10 seconds then plug it back in and see if the update is correct and up to date. Last I updated-dated it says 1.77 up to date. My system stopped skipping, everything works great. This system works the way it’s meant to sound like.atmos feels and sounds like I have a7.1.4 set-up. DTS-X also sounds louder and more Bass Pronounced and rear SURROUND is Louder. Height seems real from front to back. In my bedroom is 9x9x9 small but I can hear all around surround sound from a bubble awesome.
Nice idea using the fan. I wonder if there's a mount for this system yet with a build in fan. They make some for Apple TVs but this box is definitely bigger.
Hey @_DST0NE_, Thanks for commenting. Yeah, they do have an internal fan. I'm guessing that the internal fan will only kick in after it reaches a certain temperature because it's programmed that way. The issue is the normal operating temperature is hot enough to create a problem with the wireless signals. Hopefully, HTA9 2.0 will have this problem solved.
It s cutting off too /( grrr have to check what u said to solve
I feel your pain @Roreaver, try turning off the RF and back on again. If it doesn't solve it try my trick. I'm convinced that the heat at the bottom of the device is messing with its performance. Honestly after doing that I have no more cut-offs. Zero issues.
I just got the HT A9 for Christmas and so far I haven't had any drop outs yet, that has been my single most concern before buying the A9, that and that it sounds better than the system that I was replacing and after being with this system for three weeks now, I'm still not sure. I like the A9 but I'm still not wowed yet. The A9 is being replaced by a Roku sound bar pro with a sub and 4 surround speakers which makes it a 5.1 surround sound system that I've had about 4 years but wanted to upgrade. While watching your video as you talk about the hub getting hot, I just checked mine and although it's warm it doesn't seem to be hot, especially hot enough to keep it cool with a fan, but,if it's working for you.
Yeah, ever since that trick it's been working without any issues. off course it wasn't super hot but it was hot enough for me to think that its performance was being affected because of it. Whether it was the heat or not the mod will keep the device cool and also extend its life as well. The A9 replaced my old Sony HTST5000 which couldn't connect to the subwoofer anymore. Hope you enjoy your A9. I heard you are not wowed by it yet, hopefully you got it with the subwoofer. Have a good one.
Yes I did, the SW 5. All the reviews recommend not getting the A9 without the subwoofer.
Set the small black box in the open to let the air circulate around/and or turn on your air con on ,if you have one to keep your room COOL.
Thanks. I haven't tried that. It does make me wonder as I have never updated it out of the box although I think it's automatic. Working fine now for no obvious reason..There is a surprising amount of bass without the subwoofer but the consensus on most sites is that it's essential. What do you think?
@@MARKCARRI I agree, it makes a big difference. its indeed a must
I have a 2.2 sound bar , but the woofers aren't that good i have a woofer from old sony vega tv , i need to try this , and i also have 2 good quality satalite speaker from creative . I need to try this . But I'm highly doubt about overall audio quality

Good idea sir...Thank you.....
Thanks for the video and the knowledge sir. But I need your help on how to connect my wireless lg soundbar to a wired Sony subwoofer thanks
Hey @dzabakwesi2213 sorry for the late reply. Answers to your question. It’s not possible to connect your subwoofer to your soundbar without a low frequency converter device. You can get it from Amazon. The reason is when you connect it through wired connection it will produce bass and voice and everything else which the subwoofer was not created to do, it won’t sound nice. it’s close to impossible to connect a soundbar and subwoofer that didn’t originally come in the box together or meant to connect to each other wirelessly. So your best bet is to tap in to the left and right speakers of your soundbar and use the device to covert the low frequency and send it to the subwoofer to produce bass sound only. let me know if it answered your question. Have good one!
@@davidyebvlogs thanks for your response sir. I will be glad if you could help me with the link to low frequency device you would recommend thanks.

Awesome idea. However I see a problem with the small fridge failing and having to replace it every year or two due to limited air circulation under the counter.
