The best Turkish food from istanbul & Cappadocia 2023. The food from savoury through to sweet was just imense. We had a lot of street food too like Roasted chestnuts and Simit. We also went into Sweet shops to try Baklava.

Can we istanbul city card from airport using turkish lira without credit card

Thanks for the information. Could you please let me know few more information? Me and my wife will visit Istanbul for 6 days in November 2023 and hopefully will cover most of the Istanbul area with tram, metro, ferry and buses, if our 500 lira card balance finish then what we do next? Can this card have option for more topup cuz I heard that you can use Red Istanbul card for 1 month with 500 balance. Please guide us. Thanks & Regards,
Hi Once you purchase the istanbul card from any shop kiosk or the actual ticket machine, you will have already have put some balance on it to purchase it. You can then go to a Ticketmatic machine at the train or metro stations, which are everywhere. you then have the option to top up as much as you like or judge it by your usage. It's quite cheap to travel around. Remember you only need one ISTANBULKART for two people. You tap go through and hand over to the next person and they tap and go through. Hope this helps have a great trip.
