    I'm English and we have few if any Dodge's in England. Shame, there's something unique and attractive about them. Got to say, I'd love to own one - if I could afford the fuel to run it. Interesting point you make about using a damp towel for drying. I see why you make the recommendation and I will certainly try it myself. It looked extremely effective when you were drying your wife's ceramic coated Dodge, but would it work quite as well drying an unprotected vehicle where the water just lies on the paint? She turned out lovely anyway, cheers for the vid.

      @jordansmobiledetailing5097 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, even if you have a unprotected vehicle it will aid in drying the vehicle without causing any marring. I would suggest using a drying aid if you don’t have any sealant or protection on the paint currently.

    Well done, Jordan! Superb transformation. There are only so many hours you can commit to doing a job, and customers n detailers alike must balance their expectations. The level of embedded filth in/on that car was far beyond anything I've ever encountered, and it must have taken many hours of hard work. Time allowing, there are only two things I might have tried to add on to the great job you did. The first one is the headlights: a bit of compound and a rag, or a DA if you've got one, would have improved them a lot. Second, I would have got some trim restorer like Carpro PERL or Solution Finish, on the front grill, wiper scuttle, and any dark exterior plastics. Enhancing trim really sets of the contrast between paint and ancillaries, giving the overall look a lot more pop. Your customer must have been pleased with the outcome, no matter.

    • @as680783
      @as680783 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Might work, might not. The risk is it absorbing into the leather and foam, because then it's going to wreak of vinegar everytime you sit in the car.

      Depends on what your doing really. But for just a wash charge $7-10/Foot. If your waxing or compounding/polishing charge $19-30/foot. Look at local competition as well so your charging what everyone else is.

    When working in a vehicle that has mould like that, you really should be wearing proper respirators and not just those masks. Respirators will protect you from breathing in harmful spores from the mould; the disposable face masks that you're wearing in this video won't be effective against spores. Respirators are, of course, more expensive but considering how dangerous mould is, definitely worth the investment to protect your lungs and your life.

      @@jordansmobiledetailing5097 The leather seats came out fabulous, but shame about the mould staining on the rear left seat (back rest). Is there any chance you could've gone a bit further with a magic erasure or something a bit more abrasive, or was it too far gone? Kudos to you for transforming what looked like a god-forsaken task. I hope the owner is going to continue restoring the old girl. You're asking for suggestions for improving? Well, I'm not a content creator but from a viewer's point-of-view I reckon you could make it even more watchable by talking to us as you're actually recording in at least just a few bits of the video. I know it's difficult and requires more editing etc. but personally I find videos more entertaining when the creator is communicating as they go. That's just a personal thing.
