This is a non boiling totally dry method.. Its way easier to consume this way with the dry powder and there is no nausea so its my preferred method. The secret to no nausea is making a bliss ball with cacao and ginger and the powder and then mixing it with your saliva in the mouth for a minute or two before swallowing.

If it has three inch long spines it may well be a bridgesii or peruvianus rather than a pachanoi (San Pedro).They're the same family of cactus, Trichocereus, they still have the same active, they just originate from different areas and have some different characteristics like the larger spines. Try looking up some examples by searching something like "Trichocereus cactus species" and compare the traits of yours to images. There are many species and captus/cultivars within the family, so visually it's difficult to nail down exactly but you can likely get at least an idea of which species it is.

Bridgesii genetics have the long spines. Same mescalin content. So many cross hybrids between Paschanoi, Bridgesii and other trichocereus, it is very hard to identify the exact species. Levels of mescalin will vary from one cactus to another.

@@lobstersrs I have a bridgesii, named as Eileen cultivar it has over 3 inch spines on it. One of my favourites. I have many cross hybrids, and some just Pachanoi with no spines. They are amazing and very variable between hybrids. I have a few on my channel

@@andyroo3022 Right on, I have a small example of an Eileen cross at my outdoor spot, IIRC it's Eileen x Lumberjack, it's a looker and a heck of a fast grower, very glaucous. I'm a big fan of spineless Pachs and Scops as well. You're correct, it really is crazy how much variation there can be between different cultivars once you start seeing detail. A lot of people have put a lot of work into genetics in terms of isolating different phenos, it's pretty amazing what people have bred. When I first got interested in cacti I was like "yep, that's a trich" but man, after a few years it still surprises me how many different cultivars I see with interesting traits that I have only heard of in passing, or just hadn't heard of at all. I'll take a look at your channel.

@@andyroo3022 Right on, you've got some nice stuff, sweet little greenhouse. There's a fairly large and thriving subculture around Trich's here in California, but I hear tell there's even more of one down in Australia and the cactus hobby has been more mainstream there than it is here for quite some time as well. You guys also have primo weather for them, and better laws regarding species like Lophs. We have pretty decent weather for them as well, but some areas are great, and others are not so great, of course I'm unlucky enough to be in one of the not so great areas of California for growing them. So I have a lot of my stuff indoors. Grow a lot from seed and sell/trade seedlings every year. It's still not bad here outdoors, but we do get lots of ambient moisture, so bridgesii and more temperamental stuff can tend to get fungal issues, etc. It's next to impossible to get monstrose briudgesii to do well outdoors here. I have a few long-time friends down your way who get growth out of their cacti that just blows my mind. Unfortunately, it's not easy for us to trade cuttings back and forth.

Some of them have been bred for more pretty flowers, more pretty colors, and other have been bred specifically to produce more Mescaline San Pedro always alot from my experience peyote is packed dense with the molecule

If there is 1% mescaline in 30 g of green, it is 300 milligrams of mescaline. In other words, there are 300 milligrams of mezcaline in 30 grams of powder.

That was VERY obvious to me. Vegetable peeler instead of super fine knife cutting. But there's guys in the comments even asking how you DRY it. I mean I don't know how they're wearing dry clothes...

10 to 12 hours SIMMERING the powder in water. Although I've seen 6.5 hours. Then the gear comes to the surface of the water like an oil/scum and that's the mesc.

Boil it for 10-12 hours like he says. Simmer it actually. Apparently you can eat the powder but it's nowhere near as powerful like that, so it's wasteful of something that took YEARS to grow.

@@OffGridInvestor not necessarily wasteful if you actually know how to dose it, plus San Pedro is relatively fast growing in comparison to other species. I’d feel differently if this were peyote…
