    Hey, I have a very important question. So, to become a lawyer. You graduate high school (with GCSEs and A levels), then go to university and earn a bachelor's degree in whatever subject, take the LSAT, go to law school and graduate, take the bar exam, and become a lawyer? If so, then I don't understand the going to university and earning a bachelor degree on whatever subject and then going to law school, I thought that you took the LSAT to enter a law collage at university and then graduate and take the bar test... Isn't law school the same as a law collage?

    Thanks for the intelligent and concise analysis. However, there is a myth about how exclusive investment banking is: if you want to be an banker, you can join top tier banks with good GCSEs, end up as an analyst after 1-2 years and continue upwards with their programs. Lehmans was the exception but they are long gone. There have been recent CEOs without degrees, and others with non-finance subjects. You can also join the big high street commercial banks in the same way. Its basically very similar to what goes on in the Big 4 accountancy firms.

      When I was 12 I wanted to become an engineer. When I was 15 I wanted to become an economist. When I was 17 I wanted to become a doctor. Now I am studying the law. I guess what I wanna say with this is that you really can not know what you want to become at such a young and premature age.

    • @parzival8227
      @parzival8227 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      LuK how many years study lawyer?

    • @luk303
      @luk303 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@parzival8227 depends in what country you want to be a lawyer. UK for example is not very strict; as you see in this video you do not even need to study the law. You can simply take a conversion year. For me that is quite amusing and careless from the goverment because a lawyer or judge takes so much responsibility in their jobs. And because of that the way to become a lawyer should not be that simple. Yes i said it, the way to become a lawyer in the UK is simple. Let's look at Germany for instance. There you will need to study 5 years, then take a state exam (in which almost 40% fail), then you need 2 more years of clerking and part time studying that finishes off with a second state exam. So in Germany it will take you up to 7-9 years to become a lawyer.

    • @SimplyySara25
      @SimplyySara25 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alexi Dimitrov well it’s 4 years to get your bachelors and then three years of law school. So total of 7 years. And if you have the money it depends on what school but a good law school will probably put you in about $100,000 in debt or even higher by the end and that’s just in the USA. Idk about anywhere else

    • @TaIkingTom
      @TaIkingTom 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alexi Dimitrov in the UK it is 3 years at uni, 1-2 years for LPC/Pupilage and then if you can find a job straight away, you’re looking at at least 5 years. Uni will be at least £27,000 and LPC around £10,000-15,000 however you can get this funded by a law firm
