I was out of my kayak standing on a sandbar and casting towards a rolling Tarpon in front of me. I heard a Tarpon rise behind me and was able to deliver the fly on the back cast. Then a hook up, 7 jumps later it threw the hook. So glad the hook came out and the fish was not exhausted. Can’t beat the Silver King for pound to pound jumping and power at any size, 10lb to 200lb. All the practice of casting around the clock payed off as I was able to cast with the rod tip traveling over my left shoulder and the fly delivered back into a small brushy pocket. Created with the #GoPro App on my iPhone.
