He is good but not good enough. I’ve tried him several times and just felt dead in my hand anytime I had him

I haven’t tried him out but the only thing I like about him in this deck is the security effect. Other than that I would prefer the bt13 Magnamon due to the draw effect but I think I’ll try it and see if it changes my mind

Belphemon tamer specifically deletes lvl 6’s so it slows RKs game down, and Belphemon can continuously bring back psychmon from trash and rage mode swings 2 checks at 17k and so it won’t ever die to security digimon. Just a really tough match for RK especially since sleep mode is un effected so he digimon can’t remove him. Now it’s not a match RK can’t win just it is heavily not in RK’s favor

I’ve struggled to find the space but yes 2 of him is really good.

Deck space is tight for consistency, and BT13 Gallantmon is slightly more effective this format in my opinion and can speed up the deck a little bit more than raid Gallantmon.

For further clarification, the effect is mandatory with no additional activation condition (e.g. angewomon ace's all turn effect dictating you being at 3 or fewer security to activate). Therefore you don't have a choice but to activate and resolve the once per turn (using it up).

[Once Per Turn] conditions prevent an effect 戶 from being activated more than once per turn. It an effect fails to activate, it does not count towards the [Once Per Turn] count. Note: Official Bandai materials often confuses and swaps the "trigger" and "activate" around, but they are regardless not the same as the Detailed Rules document and emails have pointed out. Please be careful when extrapolating from materials that confuse the two.

This is the ruling i think there’s a lot of confusion on between trigger and activate in this game because most games don’t have that.

With all due respect, you're the one who's confused here. I'm a level 1 judge, I know what the difference between triggering and activating is. In this case MachGaogamon's effect will activate if it meets its trigger condition because it 1) is not optional and 2) has no activation conditions. "When an effect adds cards to your opponent's hand" is a trigger condition. "unsuspend this Digimon." is a mandatory action when the effect is activated. If you meet the trigger condition you have to resolve the effect in some way, and in this case the only resolution is performing the mandatory action to the fullest extent possible. Even if the state of the Digimon doesn't change, you have still activated the effect and thus used up the Once Per Turn. For a source on this, you can refer to section 1-3-2-1 in the comprehensive rules manual. If you still think I'm incorrect, I would highly encourage you to join on the Bandai Organized Play discord server if you haven't already. There's a channel where you can post ruling questions and get answers directly from judges. @@RubbleDough I’m not claiming to be for sure right that’s just the ruling I found and have had other judges say it’s correct i know it’s a highly debated ruling.

@@Chris.s7but the effect did not fail to activate as it met its triggered condition (by adding a card to the opponents hand by an effect).

I'm also interested in this. Every judge I've spoken to mentions that the effect of Mach fizzles when the card is bounced by Mirage. Because the effect isn't a "you may unsuspend".

He would of missed timing. There shouldn’t be an unsuspend. The inherit met the requirement when he bounced the opp digimon.

I could be wrong but i believe its the exact opposite. Based on the wording on GN it reads to me that it enters unsuspended, as opposed to normal digivolving which has it enter suspended if the thing being digivovled on to was suspended

I also want to say, I actually quite like the old X-Antibody option, especially combined with Omnimon X. Tuck the option under, and do your whole thing. Go into Omnimon, blitz, activate the option card to go into Omnimon X. Very reliable, especially with how much you draw using Promo Garurumon

True but if a game goes longer than expected you’re guaranteed to lose if you run out of eggs and your opponent still has them

@@Chris.s7 if You ask me, a Game that forces a deck like melga to go for a 4th hatch and rise, is a Game that is Lost already. By that point, You are most likely to have run out of resources. Anyway, it's worth trying it out, MirageGaoGamon has a Lot of success that way
