you dont use oil???
Excellent video but omg the reverb😂
Thanks Is the black base plate piece at the bottom removable?
Unfortunately it is not removable Is why follower and spring only comes out thru the top opening
@@MagSwipes thanks for the reply. I did find the answer. The metal plate on the very bottom of the mag is not removable but the black polymer piece does slide off when you push/tap it towards the top of the mag.
I just ordered a set on the website.
Thank you for your order
background too dark. need better lights,,better angles
Thank you sir great video
I can’t get it back together lol , I’ll stick with revolvers . Hands don’t work.
Very clear, concise direction. Also, decent camera work and angles to show what you're talking about. I just bought a p938, and this was very helpful. Thank you
Very well done
Or, you could just get a gun that has a captured spring and no removal of safety to clean. 😊
Then, he wouldn't have needed to make this video....this video is for disassembling cleaning and re-assembling the Sig p938. If you think having a captured spring is where it's at, then great, but you ignorantly suggest that p938 owners just abandon proper gun maintenance and buy a "new one" because you believe its overly difficult. Your comment that if something is hard, just give up, go buy something else and then find and seek out others who can do what you can't do and mock them for it. Spoken like a true jackazz.
Very clearly explained and demonstrated. Will check out your other vids, too. And... as others have written, the dowel rod demo is worth the price of admission itself. You know how many other P938 videos feature folks struggling with those springs? LOL good job, sir.
Perfect
My last bullet don't go in
Thx. Couldn’t believe how nasty the mag was when I got the follower out. Was getting hung up on the last round quite often before the clean.
I agree with everyone else: a very well-done video.
This was super helpful! Great video!
Thank you Am glad you found it helpful
Excellent how to video! Thanks for clear, concise well spoken instructions!
Thank you! You solved my problem of why the hammer would not stay cocked after re-assembly. Turns out the disconnect was not engaged with the levers. Must have done that while reinstalling the grips. Easy fix and problem solved. Clear and informative video - well done.
Very informative. Thank you
Pretty well done but it would've helped me if more "rotation" had been added. Help me to better Visualize what I'm Physically About to Do. Know what I mean?
Thank you very much. I was having trouble with reassembly.
Thank you for the demo of the spring reassembly with a dowel. A .22 cal cleaning rod works also. You make this look easy.
Sig Sauer backs their products. Outstanding lifetime warranty. Should send back. New barrel? Also, recoil spring needs to be replaced after 1500 rounds.
Great job, easy to follow. Thank you
I've found the gun is highly prone to 'failure to feed' and you have to rework the action (pull back the slide) any idea what's causing that?
The P938 is an outstanding micro 9mm. But, vigilance is required to ensure outstanding reliability. I found the magazine to be the cause of the failure to feed problem. As I pointed out in the video, make sure the top of spring fits flush against the bottom of the follower. Also, make sure the magazine is clean. I had this problem with a brand new magazine, and found the top of the spring to be not seated flush. Try my suggestions, and you will eliminate the failure to feed problem.
@@MagSwipes I checked the springs, they're fine. I suspect the feed ramp is too steep.
This is so helpful. Thanks for the great tips.
Best video on TH-cam for cleaning the P938. Trust me, I watched them all. They are either too long or too short. Yours is perfect and to the point!. Subscribed!. Thanks!.
Thank you. Hope the video was helpful.
Excellent video, thank you! Had an issue after reassembly when it would slide back but not return to the front...not sure what caused it, but after 2 more dissemble/reassemble it worked.
Very good video !
No lube on the follower
I clean the follower and dry it as much as possible.
Excellent video ! Thank you. Very helpful.
Hello, the problem I’m having is that the mags will not fall at all when the ejection button is pressed. In fact, they have to be yanked out under friction. I never had the mag pop out problem though. Thank you
Thank you this helped a lot.
Dowel rod tip particularly helpful!!!
Thank you, the doll rod tip was great!
nicely done!
Very nice way to reinsert the follower Is much easier
Very helpful instructional video. Your suggestions make it much easier to reassemble this gun.
Great video One of my seven round magazines would not fully load. I also had misfeed problems with the magazine. I popped the top of the spring into place as you suggested, and I no longer have any problems.
Very good, Thanks
Good video 👍
Hell yes, good job and excellent info. I have a P 938 and when I manage to get the 7th. round in I hear a definitive click. Now I will look first at the spring.
Glad to help
Good job. I need that speed loader my m&p 2.0 is a bitch to load.
Here is the link for the loader we use www.maglula.com/product/uplula-9mm-to-45acp
@@MagSwipes thanks A.C
Very helpful straight to the point video. Great product. I could definetely use these with my Ruger too
Great invention. Looking forward to using.
Best vid I've seen on this topic. Thanks.
Dr. Kongo Thank you. I will soon release instructional video on how to correct inability to fully load P938 magazines; this particular problem can cause misfeeding of ammo. Is simple to correct this problem.
MagSwipes are curiously awesome. I've started incorporating them into my cleaning regime. Thanks, Doc!!
snakeyes20cqc Thank you. Glad you’re finding Mag Swipes to be helpful. We now have AR Mag Swipes available. For AR, AK, and all extended magazines. We have a table at the HGCA Gun Show at NRG Arena this Saturday 9-21 and Sunday 9-22. Come by and see us.
Good video.. Hopefully this will cure the failure to feed problem...
Thanks William Check position of top of spring inside magazine by looking through the opening. It needs to fit flush against bottom of follower, or else it snags and you can have many problems. Is very simple to pop into place. I have new video on this topic.
Thank you for this video. I have a P238 and the follower rarely goes in/out as smoothly as this. I guess I need to practice a few more times to get the knack.
Nice video. Never thought about cleaning out my magazine but Mag swipes made it easy!
Thank you Chris If you clean your gun, there's no reason to not clean the magazines. Is like maintaining your car engine, but ignoring the transmission. Using Mag Swipes makes it simple to clean the magazines.
