I really do get so many ideas from these flip throughs! I tend to use the same types of materials and these help me branch out to using a larger variety of elements to my book!

You have solved my advent issue!! I have been wanting to get a wooden one but they all seem so bulky, limiting, expensive, and I don’t love any of them very much. Envelopes are perfect. We can reuse them if they are not sealed and it is portable. How do you plan on storing them? Hanging card holder? shoe box? old bill/index card box? Please let us know. As always, these are so fun to look at, and give me many ideas on how to use things in more creative ways. I want to start writing in mine more next year. It's kind of a goal. Might not happen every day, but I want to personalize it more. I did get that little mini printer that you got (I think for the holidays one year?) and that is a super fun way to add things that are more memories and personal then me just gluing down random fun things. Random fun things are fine, but it's more fun when they are more personal. So more photos, and more writing are my goals next year! -christy

This will be fantastic, thank you! I’m thrilled to be able to get the entire book from Lulu right off first of the year; much simpler for me. Also, the synchronicity is perfect because it was 30 years ago this coming January that I was “formally” introduced to the Goddess via Women’s Spirituality Movement and Wicca, and my entire 2025 is wholeheartedly dedicated to Her in many ways. I must have missed the steeping/percolating discussion on Patreon but as soon as you said it, I instantly thought… to me, percolating is when lots of ideas are coming to me fast & furiously but steeping is when I pause & really think deeply about the actual ideas. So I guess, percolating feels more energized, fast surface level, & active whereas steeping is calm, peaceful, and deep. I feel well qualified to join this discussion since I drink both coffee and tea 😂

These are always so fun to watch. I bought some tempera sticks to try out, and it really is fun and easy and they come out great, so thanks for that idea! I normally print "stickers" from previous years on some kind of watercolor print paper, or seasonal print paper (ie, leaves, snowflakes, etc. ) but this is more fun! Where did you get that little tiny book, it looked almost hard back, I think you said it was a Patreon? That little book is really cool! It was a crazy year so I didn't work on my guidebooks as much as I wanted to, but I'll always have them, and I can continue to work on them next year too, just for fun! And obviously those are keepers that I will revisit many times I'm sure anyway! - christy

I think it’s wise to change things when they aren’t feeling right anymore because one’s own authenticity & true enjoyment is a huge part of what attracts people 💖
