Do crappie care about scent and cadence?
In this video I had a hard time getting the crappie to commit. However, I did eventually find a technique that worked to put a nice haul on deck. Also, the winners from the subscriber challenge are announced in the video. Sit back, relax, and enjoy as I struggle and figure these fish out.

Is it harder to catch Crappie after a Full Moon?
มุมมอง 45410 หลายเดือนก่อน
The challenge is ON! Let’s test the theory of, ‘The bite after a full moon sucks’. Here is my first sample. I will continue this experiment until I feel my sample size is large enough to give my most sound analysis. Enjoy as I try to dispel this theory. Please like, comment ,and subscribe and as always get out and put some Slabs On Deck!

Crappie Fishing With Friends!!
มุมมอง 47510 หลายเดือนก่อน
Slab Nation! Sorry for the low quality- We had some technical difficulties. I would like to thank you for watching another episode of Slabs On Deck TV. This episode shows how fishing builds solid friendships. I have had the pleasure of fishing with SK, Chris, and Kevin within a span of a month, and it was awesome. As usual I’m using my ACC Crappie Stix rods (acccrappiestix.com) and Brushpile Ji...
Catching Roaming Crappie in the Fall
มุมมอง 472ปีที่แล้ว
Slab Nation! I would like to thank you for watching another episode of Slabs On Deck TV. This episode started off fairly well until my trolling motor died and it was all my fault. I stretched my lithium batteries to thin and that was actually my fourth trip on a single charge. I won’t be doing that again. Anyway, as usual I’m using my ACC Crappie Stix rods (acccrappiestix.com) and Brushpile Jig...

Largemouth or gar maybe
Just ran across your channel and now I’m subscribing. It’s so much bigger than the actual act of fishing with the wife and family. Bonds are created and fishing is the gift that keeps on giving. My wife hops in my ranger commanche and we have a blast. Just love to see it!🤘🏾🙌🏾✊🏾
I’m glad you like it! We love to share those moments with you.
Im in Georgia myself where are you located thanks
Life takes precedence. Good ya'll are back.
I subscribed soon as I seen the husband and wife hookup. That's my dream. I'll have it day 🎣
@@KyuTheArtist601 thanks
Good stuff right here, brother! You and the wifey are handling business. I’m located south of Macon, GA. What area do you normally fish??
@@sumterame I fish all over. I actually fish Tobesofkee at times
Where you caught them at???
Slabsssssss bruh you got em.
If you bring home a bucket of the water they lived in and put ice in it, they live quite a long time. Delicious
You got on them bro 💪🏾
You already know
It went down
Bro, I'm going to tell you like I use to tell my kids when they were small when I took them fishing. If you don't catch a fish, you have to walk home.
@@Samej-b5d 😂
Great video 🙌🏾
I believe it is both. What did you think of gluing jig and body together.
I think it was both that day as well. That was actually my first time do that. I have some Googan plastics that have really good profiles and give a lot of action in the water but are so soft. So that glue helped me a lot.
Yes life has a habit of changing plans for all of us.
You are right about that. Please send your address to my email and I will get your merch mailed out to you. SlabsOnDeck.GA@gmail.com

No but they do come together.
Thank you Sir
Thanks for the support!
I think he was asking what king of knot and bait. My question is what kind of transducer mount are you using and what kind of electric motors are you using on the back of the boat?
I used mostly brushpile jigs with ACC crappie stix jig heads. I use all aboard marine for my transducer and power brakes for my crappie brakes
About the information on the hand tied and plastic
@@charlesmiller7630 I’m sorry I don’t understand what you’re asking
Bro, I love that vibe. That’s a blessing. Yeah keep up the good work.

Wassup my brotha, just subscribed, and I'm a new fisherman in training. Just purchased a boat, and looking to meet other people. I'm not too far from Peachtree City, so hopefully we can link up soon, before it gets too cold.

Hey Terry, I came across your video one day by accident and got hooked. I'm just getting into crappie fishing and loving it. I go out with a friend who's been doing it for about three years now, so I guess we're both new at it. 😂 What I like about your videos is that they are very informative and they reflect your knowledge on your equipment and your fishing skills. I also like that you are local, not too fair from where I'm at. Keep up the great work with your videos, and may God bless you, my brother.

@@DarronSmithBahamianMillionaire Thanks so much!
Yes sir...go good wit some fried okra!!
Oh yes!
Great video on open water fishing. Regarding bait fish identification. Most times, baitfish will clump together when predators are near to attempt to look like a bigger entity in the water. Most times, they look a ball on the graph. Good stuff, brother.
Thanks so much! If you can identify bait fish you could save yourself a lot of time
@slabsondeckga absolutely, keep it up
Sweeeeeet ✊🏾😎🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟
Ok I have a lot of comments. Were most of.fish caught behind soft part of mouth. I also watch Richard Genn the fishing Machine. He has a way to stop bait from slide off hook. Ty dental floss on hook shaft. Position bait on hook. Slide out of way. Apply super glue to floss. Slide bait into place. And last of all. Can you.show what you were describing about Transducer and Tolling motor.
I see you big dawg, great video! And yes I got the number 😏
Good deal. Appreciate the support. Good luck!
