I think he misguided tons of people. I leave in Canada. The civic sports comes with 2.0 L without turbo engine. Whereas the touring, sport touring and ex comes with 1.5L turbo. Furthermore I totally agree that Canadian models have more features such as blind spot mirror, back type c compartment and sunroof in the sports tirm❤
Hey man, as Honda Canada’s website, and local Honda dealers, please see below: 1.5-litre, 16-valve, Direct Injection, DOHC, turbocharged 4-cylinder Engine Horsepower : 180 hp @ 6000 rpm Torque : 177 lb-ft @ 1700 - 4500 rpm Sport Mode (CVT only) The above was pulled from Oakville Honda’s website. It appears the Honda Canada website for the 2023 model has been taken down. If you still disagree, please respond with cited information.
Is this the same engine (1.5L turbo) with the oil issue ( on the recall)? If I'm to pick, I'll take the 2.0L N/A.
To my knowledge there is no current recall on the model I am reviewing, however, after researching a bit, there can be some recalls on certain models depending on when and where the vehicle was manufactured. If buying, I'd certainly advise you to double-check any notices.

As a civic owner, I can tell you guys, theres alot of tech, engine is solid mpg is good. Wouldnt buy this car again tho. Steering problems the dealer wont acknowledge on a car with 12k on it. Not worth the hassle.
Oh wow, that's a terrible situation to be facing. Have you considered getting the issue diagnosed by a different Honda Dealer, as management might be different / more proactive in solving your issue?

Not having a homelink garage door opener as standard equipment is a big deal to me. The homelink is only offered on the top trim.

Understandable why you might be annoyed to hear me speak about it multiple times… I just wanted to point out if you’re getting the vehicle and would be annoyed by getting dry skin ash on high touch area fabrics, than you should really consider different packages or options available

Here in the SE U.S., it's way overpriced (like most reputable imports). That said, it is one of the few remaining naturally-aspirated 4 cyl. engines that can be had with a manual transmission. There's a good chance the buyer will tire of looking at this vehicle before it ever requires the expensive repairs typically associated with CVTs and turbochargers. It seems Toyota, Subaru and Nissan have all but abandoned this reliable/proven combination. Mazda3 is forcing new buyers to their top trim levels ("S Premium") if a manual transmission is desired - but I believe it's also turbocharged.
Turbo should only be on diesel engine not a gas engine

Canada is lucky as hell they get a turbocharged sport but in the us we get naturally aspirated

How is the fabric on seats? Did you consider the EX L too?
The fabric isn't the best quality. It is rugged and looks like it'll last a while, but collects a lot of dead skin cells, especially around high-touch areas.

@@TH-camuseritis overall pick up is quite good for the type of car it is, it doesn’t under perform. For the price that you pay, you get a lot of premium features, a nicely designed car, and something that is known to last a really long time, so I would definitely recommend this. Plus, with insane gas prices nowadays, it’s really gas efficient - I’ve spent $200 for the month of July travelling around 1900 km

I could be wrong, but according to Honda Canada’s website, under engine specs, it states the car has 180 hp @ 6000 rpm. You are right in it being a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine though
@@hamza-aziz 180hp is only available on the "Sport Touring" trim. Both LX & Sport have same engine with 158hp

In Canada, the LX has 158 HP, while the Sport B, Sport, and Sport Touring all have 180 HP, while in the US market, the Sport has 158 HP. Since this is a Canadian model, the model I'm driving has 180 HP vs. the American version. Hope this clears things up. I am all for accuracy on my channel, especially when it comes to reviewing certain tech items.
I thought you were wrong too about the 1.5 T, then when you moved to the rear of the car, I saw the dual exhaust tips… the 2.0 liter NA engine has a single exhaust on the passenger side of the rear bumper. I figured then that you must be in a market other than the US. Good review!👍

Just purchased mine from Factory Direct for $50 a few years ago it’s now $60 but it’s so much faster than sweeping because the dirt is sucked up which leaves the floor since I have mostly flooring shiny and dirt free
