Hi, I'm Mer. This channel will mostly be Professor Layton content, but what kind of content? I don't really know what to do so you can expect speedruns, music videos (even though I'm not that good in it), memes and maybe even polls in the future. Should you subscribe to me? Only if you like my content, but to be honest there are far better Layton channels out there so in place of asking to subscribe to me I recommend you check my recommended channels on the right, those channels really are amazing and are more active than me.
Laytons Series: What is the best theme? || All Popular Themes Ranked.
These past months, I've been gathering information about what the fandom thinks is the best music in the series. In this final poll, the best 10% themes of each game (and movie) fought against each other.
I asked everyone to choose a favourite theme, to have four other songs for a top five and ten other songs for a top 15. A song in someone's top 15 got three points, a song in someone's top five got five points and someone's favourite theme got ten points. If someone answered only one or two questions out of the three, then the vote was also counted but for fewer points. If you only answered the first question, then your favourite theme got three points. If you only answered the first two questions, then your favourite theme got five points and the songs in your top five got three points. In this video, you see the results from that poll. For more detailed results, check the link below. The points aren't calculated in these results and you can't see the results from the incomplete answers (what is needed to calculate the points), but you get an idea of how many people voted on a certain theme.

This is missing the one from Layton Mystery Tanteisha anime. Although I'm not sure if it would fit, it certainly is a Layton theme.
I'm aware of that fact, sadly when I uploaded this video, the OST of the anime wasn't released yet, so that's the reason why it's missing for now. I might make a new version though when "Professor Layton and the New World of Steam" is released, as maybe we will hear a new Layton theme variant in that game.

PLvsPW's Layton theme seems so much more dominant as compared to the rest.
What do you mean by dominant?
@@moon4236prolly that it has more overall Presence, It also been partly remixed by some of the Musical Ideas from AA

Mer28 yeah unfortunately I didn’t get to vote on all of them because I didn’t have time to relisten to all the soundtracks but a lot of my favorites made it in the Top 50 Also before watching it I was betting that Professor Layton’s Theme, Unwound Future’s Theme, Iris, Descole’s Theme, and one of the London Streets was gonna be in the Top 10

At 12:16, the song 'Cold Open Professor Layton's Theme' would have played normally. Due to copyright claims, the scene is removed. Sorry for this little problem.
Sorry for not commenting on these for a while, but I just wanted to drop in to say that Folsense being in the top three Prof Layton series themes brings me so much happiness. Thank you for dedicating your time and effort to these polls and videos, I enjoyed them immensely.

This is beautiful! Layton games are more than just puzzles with story and this just goes to show.

Yeah, the main theme has always been the first place since Unwound Future. I mean, the main themes are often really good, but I would love to see another song have the first place.

Yeah, I took the intro out because of the cutscene. In that cutscene, the intro also doesn't play, but I still like it though :).
the intro theme is literally the best of the franchise 💀
Overall a much better OST than the last one. A lot more memorable songs, top 4 are some of the best tracks in the series.
