Good god. I haven't found this tutorial until now, and my god man, this is a godsend of a video. I remember the fucking pain of not understanding why my audio wouldn't fucking work back when I was trying to use this a few years ago, and I couldn't find ANYTHING OF IT ANYWHERE, and as it turned out it was as you saiD IT NEEDS TO BE A FUCKING WAV NOT AN MP3 AAAUUUGGHHH- But on top of that, I was used to simple animation programs, like Flipnote Studio for the DSi and DrawCast and FrameCast for iOS (if any of you remember those), so I never understood how to do a "flipbook" animation style because the UI works like Photoshop's UI, A PROGRAM I'D NEVER USED, go figure lol. I am so mad I hadn't found this video sooner, thank you for taking the time to show the ways you animate to give a visual on how one would them while simultaneously explaining the process. It's SOOO SO HELPFUL. I can finally visualize in my mind how I could go about the process, and I could do it in a couple different ways. Plus, it was fun to watch, love when tutorials have a sense of humor.👌💯

You can edit keyframe folders without turning them off by clicking the little pen icon right next to keyframe icon

i know this video is from three years ago but CHRIST!!!!!!! I THOUGHT MY COMPUTER WAS SHIT!!!! I LOOKED UP SO MANY DIFFERENT TIMES SINCE 2018 WHEN I FIRST TRIED ANIMATING IN CLIP ON HOW TO FIX THE AUDIO SYNC ISSUE. WAV FILES??????? WAV FILES???????????????????? I SPENT MONEY ON OTHER PROGRAMS!!! I GAVE UP ON THREE SEPARATE PROJECTS BECAUSE THE AUDIO WAS SO UNSYNCED. NOBODY HAD ANY SOLUTIONS ONLINE. I LOOKED IT UP SO. MANY. DIFFERENT. TIMES. OVER THE YEARS. I just got csp ex verson 3 about a week ago. Tysm for the tutorial, it helps a ton! I have mainly used pro for about 4 years now, so i never looked all that into animation tutorials as i could never make long animations. Now that i have ex i can finally animate more! And your tutorial explained alot gor me!

You can right-click on a cell and choose "create folder and insert layers" so that you can have layers in a cell, so you can separate lineart and flat color or else all in one cell/frame makes it easier to edit instead of having to add a new animation folder to add other stuff, you do have to click over the "100% normal" name part of the cell or it will show you a different option menu
