Welcome to IntelGents! A storytelling channel dedicated to remarkable innovators, adventurers and change makers of past and present. IntelGents is hosted by Telly Award-winning (that's a thing, look it up.) documentarian Jerry McNutt. My documentary, Somehow Hopeful: The Story of a Woodsman, can be seen on Apple, Prime, Tubi and here on TH-cam! Every view is greatly appreciated and every subscriber motivates a tear of happiness! The Mystery of Amelia Earhart: Three Theories Down to One?
This video focus' on the day of her disappearance and beyond. There are three theories that seem to dominate but is it possible to eliminate two of those theories? Maybe. #adventure #history #truestories #ameliaearhart
#innovation #inspiration #mystery
There are many more aspects to this story than I could included here - including the castaway and Japanese capture theories. I'm aware of the many of the contradictions, etc., but I'd love hear where I got it wrong or info I may have left out. It's a fascinating subject that can easily pull you in. Amelia lived a remarkable life and is still highly influential. Thanks for watching!!

Vladimir Horowitz was one of the greatest pianist of the 20th century. Yet, with all the praise and accomplishments, he fought the demons of anxiety and depression. His courage to continue despite his struggles is a story of inspiration. #truestories #anxiety #depression #inspiration #piano #innovation #adventure #classicalmusic

This scientist had the courage to fight for humanity against the most powerful entities the world has ever seen. He spent decades locked in a battle for truth and should be celebrated as much as any hero you can name. If you'd like to read more about Clair Patterson, here's a wonderful interview with the man just a few months prior to his passing - I highly recommend it. oralhistories.library.c...

Aviation's Most Daring Innovator Had One Eye And Nerves of Steel!
One very sad thing is if the government had broken the Japanese code then they sacrificed many lives in Pearl harbor. Another thought is the plain could be buried in the sand on that island. Anything is possible.
I had the exact same thought about Pearl Harbor.
Wonderful video. Hello from Down under 😊
How weird would it be to say, "Thank you from Up Over." It just doesn't have the same catchy sound. Bummer. Thanks for watching! It's always exciting to know someone from another part of the world found my little channel. Have a great day!
I' would be onboard with this channel if it wasn't for the sporadic ai imagery, hard 'no' for me on ethical grounds. I'm only saying this as it is so sporadic I am hoping you aren't committed to it yet. Your content is otherwise legit and respectably, so you won't get a dislike from me.
Hello Corey. Actually, you and I agree. The biggest challenge for this channel is the imagery. It takes a little over 100 hours for each video and far too much of that is spent trying to generate, edit, create, dig up or conjure imagery. Not sure what you mean by ethical grounds. I'm a team of one so no one was fired and I have no budget so no one would have been hired - hopefully that changes someday! I try to avoid copyrighted imagery and for most of my stories so far - no images exist. I'm trying to keep people from being forced to look at my face for too long, which would be entirely unethical. Sometimes I get the most bizarre results. I've left some in for comic value. There's one video where a crowd member in the background has the head of horse. That being said, I spend far too many hours trying to get images and my biggest issue is the, as you say, the sporadic style. It's super frustrating. I'll post a short this week of my heated conversation with an AI generator that simply couldn't understand a basic request. I do have an idea to limit the use of AI but I will instantly get roasted and accused for copying another storyteller - which would not be my intention. It's a big challenge that I'm constantly trying to improve upon. Anyway, you didn't ask for such a long reply, oops. Anyway, thanks for watching and I do appreciate comments. Have a great day.

Thank you Clair and thank you IntelGents.
@@Tunnelmental You're most welcome and thank you!
Excellent presentation.
What kind of gold did I just sumble upon?
It's a shame that we have to say "Trigger warning". LoL. It's a documentary🤦♂️ Good job btw.
How could she be running her engines if she ran out of gas?
Good question. The theory is that she knew she was terribly low on gas. It wouldn't make sense to stay in the air until empty if she found a potential landing spot. If she was lost, the next landing spot could be many hundreds of miles away. Best to land at the first opportunity. Thanks for watching!
The smart thing to do is..not to stay in the air until you completely run out and the engines stop running..land while you still have power...any fuel left could still run one engine and therefore be able to run the radio..maybe she still had a few gallons left..not enough to fly anywhere,But maybe to run the engine for a few hours off and on for a few days
Very cool, never knew any of this. Subbed on the spot
Excellent video.
Wonderful story telling and it gives one much to think about! Good job, McNutt!
And just like my wife, she didn’t watch the fuel gauge so she crashed.
It happens...
She involved faked her death
I love your channel!! Keep going 👏👏🫡
Thank you! Working on a big one now. I've you've enjoyed the past episodes, I think you'll love this. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.

What would have really eased tensions would have been to throw Reagan in jail for 20 years for the damage he did and the suffering he caused to 3 generations to this country and all the lies he told .
I know that awful feeling of anxiety. What a hard thing to overcome.
Incredible story! I really enjoyed it.
Amazing! Responsible for making crucial changes in our environment which directly impacts our health. Very informative.

New sub here. Your channel is great, especially since it's new. (it took me 2 years just to get to 600 subs, lol). You will do great.
Thank you so much! Honestly, comments like this really help. Thanks for watching and I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed it. A new one should be out next weekend.
I remember the first movie! I'll never forget her story! I especially remember the larvae the locals had to dig out of her 😮
Even after recording this, doing the research, her book, it still blows me away. There was a rumor that Sophie Turner was going to do another movie in 2017. It's listed on her imdb but I don't think it happened. Thanks for watching!
Oh you silly man the ultimate western is THE SEARCHERS !

Talk about a dog, well you hear a dog bark. Music background annoyingly constant. I thought I just saw the Discovery Channel is doing exceptionally poorly financially, so don’t copy them
Amazing 🤩 thank you!!!
