I had to check what ‘Teenage Opera’ was Paul. I always thought that song was called ‘Grocer Jack’ (for blindingly obvious reasons)! Thanks for your comment. We were toying on reviving ‘ITLQE’ with Comus, but it sadly didn’t get beyond the thumb-twiddling stage.

Psychedelic timing with the reply : - I am in the middle of uploading a few bagpipe tracks, and yesterday I named a track after a local band from the early 80s. At some stage today I will be uploading a track called " Bobbie Watson " ( I've only just thought of it, so I can't wait to find out what I say about her .... ) . By the way, don't force me to do my own version of Get Yourself A Man !!!

Ha ha - I love the idea of doing requests, Paul. We did actually tinker around with an arrangement of Down (Like A Movie Star), but didn’t finish it it time for this project. We didn’t ventured any further into TKFC’s contested territory though. I’ll have to listen to your suggestion - rather embarrassingly, I’m not sure that I’ve ever even heard it…..

Thanks for giving the arrangement a spin, Travis; it is a very different take from the original! You're right that the guitar sample is mixed back, but I wanted to paint it in as a sort of veiled suggestion of the original rather than have it foregrounded.

Check out "Then Hangman's Beautiful Daughter" by The Incredible String band if you havent yet bro. Love that album so much.
