Nice vid! I have a 2019 SEL Alltrack with an IS38 turbo swap, stage 3 APR tune, Stage 3 DSG tune and all the mods to support the turbo, Inlet etc..I'm pushing close to 400 at the crank and man is it fun, The DSG is the way to go though when pushing bigger power numbers and it shifts like a dream.

You only should look at coilovers if you want to adjust your ride height. You can buy an aftermarket strut to pair with your springs for a lot less than coilovers. They usually go for about 1k as a package.

You obviously have access to some pretty cool cars, so i would try to film more with what you already have access to. Maybe film more comparison or versus videos? You could further build your existing car as well. In terms of style i think you need a little more action, you need to have some personality so people want to watch your videos, but you do not need to be over the top. (not saying you are) However, I do think your content needs to have a little more action to gain more views. How do you do that? I am not entirely sure, but you could spend more time on filming and editing to produce something that looks more upscale. Another thing i would add is fly Bys or maybe even consider voice overs. Maybe drone shots? The point is that there are many ways for you to improve or differentiate your content provided you continue to improve and upload good content somewhat consistently you should continue to gain views and subs. Yo Shep , i got a question man. i have 2023 MK8 GTI SE, It is my first car but when i get used to it and im craving for so much more (power) but i think its just all stock. Im just afraid if i modified it because maybe ill regret it sooner or later , that i shouldve get the new 2025 Golf R or a Last Fuel Based Generation (but i think the 2025 Golf GTI and R are bad), but my question is Do you think Modifying her will change my mind? My 2023 VW Golf GTI didn't come with an engine cover so it doesn't fall under the recall. I did purchase the new version cover for like $60 shipped. Hell would have froze over before VW would think about giving us 2023 GTI owners a free cover.

I'm pleasantly surprised that VW actually did it.

I bought my ‘24 SE on April 30th and it came with that exact cover. Really wish it had some kind of logo on it. Mind boggling that it doesn’t! This isn’t a no frills car like a Corolla or base Jetta. I searched for a decent logo for it but worried about the adhesive not holding up and couldn’t find anything compelling. Any ideas??

Have a 2019 Alltrack which is the last of the line model year wise that we saw here in the States. Metallic black with cinnamon interior. Original owner babied it thru the pandemic so it had super LOW miles. I paid a premium for it because they are so rare.

No manual is a no go, that is the main reason I got a MK8 and did not wait for the 8.5. Most of the complaints people have with the 8 cause me no issue like the streering wheel. Now I do wish there was climate buttons or knobs.

This guy's really cute🤭. Wouldn't these "hidden" details magically become unhidden if owners just read the manual after getting the car? Is it because of some outdated regulation that Golfs in the US don't have the really convenient "Auto Hold" feature for the park brake? It's a bit mean that power folding mirrors are not standard, as they are in other countries.

Well done VW for completely ruining the Golf, the mk4 was the most beautiful followed by 5 then 6. But this 8 is a totally a total piece of shit

Not really cost cutting when the GTIs/Rs have always been like that. The interior trim on my mk7.5 R has the same amount of plastic on the inside. They've never come with power folding/auto dimming mirrors. They have also never had the KESSY on all 4 doors and the passenger seat has always lacked full auto. Comparing VW to Audi is kind of pointless, you pay more for the Audi for a reason.

I think the Mk 8.5 is just going to be a Facelift with some of the smaller issues ironed out. Its not going to be a phase shift to EV or anything. The Mk9 will apparently be exclusively EV, at least that's what the European motoring press were saying last year.

I’d say that the omission of buttons for basic things like heated seats and traction control is another way that Volkswagen cost cut on this car. Also the sliders that they have for climate control don’t even light up at night. Still a great car tho.

WoW! This kid rants about his VW GTI. Perhaps he should not have bothered getting one. Majority knows about the cost cutting - get over it.VW cost cutting began after Diesel gate scandal. You either stay loyal and not bother with it's negatives. In the past I used to drive 09 2.5L Rabbit/golf and 2017-2019 VW Tiguans and never complained. When the new Tiguan came out w/the slump power engine, I upgraded to the Audi brand. He should've just chose a used (CPO) 2015-2019 VW Golf R then tuned it and called it a day - any VW enthusiast would see that as a smart buy over the MK8 and present
