Here’s how you can upload a product on Meesho and start selling:
Log into your Supplier Panel and visit the ‘Catalog Upload’ section. Click on ‘Add Single catalog’ and select a template for your product. Add a sharp and clear shot of the front image of the products in your product.
Images with text or watermarks won't be accepted. Also, make sure you don't add the price or the logo of the brand.
Uploading a single catalog on Meesho takes just a few, easy steps. Here's everything you need to know!
To start with, log into your Supplier Panel, visit the ‘Catalog Upload’ section from the left and click on ‘Add single catalog’. Then, choose the right template for your upload from the category tree. You can even choose to search for the relevant category using the search bar. It is crucial that you pick the right template because your catalog name is set as per the template you choose.
After you select the right template, click ‘add product images’. Do note, you can add multiple products to your catalog. Upload high quality, front facing images of each product in the catalog here. Only upload front facing images at this stage. You can upload various angles of the products within your catalog at a later stage. Ensure to avoid blurred images, images with watermarks or text and cropped or partial images. Make sure that the image shows the front of the product clearly.
Once you're done, click 'Continue' and you'll be taken to the product detail page. Add details for all the products you’ve in your catalog here. All fields marked with an asterisk are compulsory to fill. First, add the price of your product. You can now add 2 prices for your products: 1. the Meesho Price and 2. the Wrong/Defective Return Price. The Meesho Price allows a customer to return a product with no questions asked whereas the Wrong/Defective Return Price only allows a customer to return the product if it's wrong or damaged.
Once you fill in the price of your product, enter the MRP, which is nothing but the Maximum retail price for the product. Then, add the GST percentage your product falls under. Once done, select an HSN code. Please ensure that you select the most relevant HSN code while choosing it from the drop down.
Once done, fill in the weight, size and other compulsory details regarding your product. You're all set to take your catalog live once you fill in all compulsory details, however, we suggest filling in all optional fields you have the information handy for as well. Why? It helps your catalog rank better across Meesho once it goes live! Click 'Add Images' to add various angles of your product if you wish.
If you wish to add more products to your catalog, you can do so by clicking on 'Add Product'. Once you are ready to submit your catalog, click on the “Submit Catalog” button and your catalog moves into the quality check process. You can see the status of your catalog from the ‘Catalog Upload’ section on your Supplier Panel. The ‘QC in progress’ tab shows you all catalogs that are still being checked, the ‘QC Pass’ tab shows you all catalogs which have passed QC and will be taken live shortly and the ‘QC Error’ tab shows you all the details for catalogs that didn’t pass the quality check.
If you ever wish to edit a catalog at a later date, simply visit the 'Inventory' tab on your Supplier Panel, find the product you wish to update and click the 'Edit' button next to it. Once done, fill in the product details on the product details page. Here, you can add details of the products and additional images of your product as well. Once all the details are in place, you can continue to submit your product. You can find products that are being verified in the ‘QC in progress’ tab.
