I know it was just a temporary power-up, but i really wish Luz could've kept the Titan's power. Have it merge with her soul or something like that so she actually became a Human Witch rather than having to rely on a Living Titan for her glyphs.

I just realized that all the "Concentrate. Think of what you want." and maybe even the "Come on Eda. You know where magic comes from. From the heart!" is a callback to how on season 2 Eda and Lilith had to learn the basics again after meeting their new power level. Damn I love this show.
I really wish they went to the Archives so Luz could show off her Titan form. And make Amity pass out in joy. Also, I wish they had gone with Luz, Eda, and King freeing the rest of the CATS and bringing them to fight Bellos. Plus I think Luz would have looked better as fusion human, otter, and dragon.
I'd say they should have given her a more otter face and a tail just like Stringbean. Also, I'm pretty sure Stringbean can share her shape-shifting powers with Luz.
The purple actually represents her own magic and it's entirely possible she might be able to unlock that form again through her own efforts since I have a feeling that a good portion of that was unlocking her own dormant potential

They can both be considered as amalgamations. One is a false idol who parades himself as the savior of the world, when he is nothing but a lowly, slimy, and evil blob. Whereas Luz was a beautiful unison between Human, Witch, and Titan and the harmony that she worked to establish between those three.
