Leo Tolstoy on the BEAUTY and DANGERS of Cinema
Although it's unusual to link Leo Tolstoy (1828-1910) with cinema, his nineteenth-century novels have inspired several twentieth-century films, including adaptations of War and Peace.
Surprisingly, Tolstoy not only enjoyed watching movies but also predicted their growth as an industry.

I have always wondered about Hitler's allure. I am familiar with Jung and this makes sense in an "I'll be damned" sort of way. I have a friend who was born in Germany but raised in the US. She told me her grandpa hated what Hitler was doing as did many of his friends. They had no way to stop what was happening once Hitler got going. So I disagree with the bit about all Germans liking him. Still, the content was fascinating. Well done, I'm impressed.

In a letter to his mother, Stalin is supposed to have said something to the effect of: "Mama, remember the Tsar? I'm something like the Tsar." Maybe Jung was right.

I've been writing music since i was 15. I'm now 34. Still writing. I gig for a living. playing great songs and sprinkling some of my own in. The life of an artist is brutal.
