@ I must admit it sounds amazing. I have XinematiX with all the packs but the orchestral, strings and wind instruments appear to sound much better in iconica sketch!

Hi, unfortunately I'm not familiar with the neosoul style and wouldn't consider myself very versed in jazz. But to get a jazzier feel you could probably use the Chord Syncopated Accomp Style or in the Chord Sequence Accomp Style set the different beats to 7ths, 9ths, add11, add13. On the Melody you could use the Chromatic Melody constraint, and select the Swing Rhythm to be Shuffle or Hard. Another Accomp Style that is more jazzy is the Walking Bass Accomp Style. Check out the motif examples in: sites.google.com/site/azul3dapps/home/sample-motif-files?authuser=0 The example motifs using some of these Settings are the Walking Bass and the Chromatic motifs. Hope this helps.

@@Crazy-Society Hi, there is a way. Go to the Accomp Seq Accomp Style. There you can select all kinds of chord variations (sus2,sus4,7th,add9,add11,add13) for each 1/8 beat of a bar. Hope this helps.

Thanks! Yes, you can really use the motifs generated for different music styles.

DRC is actually being used for the Accompaniment. The DRC preset is Harpa. One of the SynthMaster One instances is used for the melody, using the PLK Fat Chords preset. The other instance is used for the 3rd Track (Chords), using the Warm Pad preset.

The drums are being driven by Octachron into RuisMaker using the Soft Electronic Kit preset.

Thanks! One of the instances of PM is playing rythm guitar and the background guitar riff. Another one is playing the lead guitar (melody only). The third one is playing the bass (accomp only).

Thanks for listening and for your feedback! Maybe the BPM is a little high but I was looking at the score and a piano player could easily handle it. The second motif is just an arpeggio on the left hand and a simple melody on the right, albeit with tremolo in some bars and some overlapping of notes between the left hand and right hand. It gets just a little more complex later with harmony on the right hand (with only 4 notes per bar) but still an arpeggio on the left hand. You mean like some of the settings right? That would be interesting. It’s an arrangement of a few different parts, so each one was created individually, then arranged together into one piece. I think I hear syncopated chords running for most of the piece.

Hi, I sometimes challenge myself to see if I can emulate the style of a piano piece that I like, using Piano Motifs. In this case this track is inspired by a Yann Tiersen piece. I started by using the chord progression used in that piece (you can find that progression in the motif I have placed in the description of this video). In that motif there is a Chord & Bass Accomp Style using the Slow option, which can emulate the initial accompaniment in that piece. The piece evolves from that slow accompaniment to a fast paced repetitive arpeggio. For that I replicated the arpeggio using the Arpeggio Sequence Accomp Style selecting the Tonic option. Two different melody types are used with this arpeggio. First, a slow frequency melody that is constrained to just 3 notes of the scale using the User Defined Melody Constraint (you will be surprised how constraining the notes of the melody helps in creating some good riffs). After that the melody moves to a fast paced arpeggio which is just the Melody Constraint being Arpeggio (random arpeggio). Then I allowed my track to take a different route with another Arpeggio section for the accompaniment, but this time just an Arpeggio Accomp Style (random arpeggio) that follows the chord progression. Finally I used the Accomp Last Bar for the end of the piece using the Bass option, to create a closure bar for the piece. In total there are 6 motifs in this track. Hope this gives you an idea of how this track was created.
