The dedicated smoke setting is not needed smh
Urggh, I'm really torn on which pellet grill is the best for me. But I truly appreciate your objective comparison of these grills. I'm leaning towards the Reqteq Flagship 1100, or the Camp Chef Woodwind Pro.
Have this grill and love it
As a previous Traeger+ user, the switch to Asmoke has been a game-changer for me. The ASMOKE AS350DC Battery Tabletop Pellet Grill has surpassed my expectations in terms of convenience, flavor, and versatility. The battery-powered feature allows me to use it anywhere, making it perfect for tailgating and camping trips. The addition of the FlameTech patent for precise temperature control has truly made a difference in my grilling results. But what sets Asmoke apart for me is the different flavors you can achieve with the wood pellets. It's like I'm discovering grilling all over again. The ASCA™ technology also simplifies cleaning, which was always a huge pain with my old grill. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and innovation that has gone into the design of this grill, it's clear that Asmoke values their customers' experience. #Asmoke
The app doesn’t work anyway so that’s not a con. The developers know the app is useless and don’t care to fix it
I have an old school rectec, I am looking at the dual fire recteq for next year.
I’ve bought one and my honest opinion is. Don’t get rid of your bbq
I just bought one of these and it's great. It was easy to put together by myself. It is extremely well built. The quality of this for the price is not matched by any other manufacturer for the price. Now I need to see how long it lasts.
The extra smoke feature is a nice touch but i think the inexpensive smoke tubes you can buy for $15 can solve that issue. As far as hopper size i think both are adequate. The larger screen is nicer on the platinum.
Thats an affordable price for that, ffs
More A.I. BULLSHIT
I wouldn't pay a 1,000 for that just to smoke indoors.
My Camp Chef smoker has a pellet dump and I’ve never used it.
Everyone talked about Trevor being the shit. Looks like it sucks hind tit
Pit boss suck period!
Traeger 885 all day… Customer Service is WAY better with them.
Competition is 5 degree adjustment and Pro is still 25 degree adjustments?
I think (according to a previous video I saw on the v2) it goes up 5 degrees until about 350 then it goes up by 25, if I recall. I'm researching between the two as well. Leaning towards the 1150 v3.
Need a real user test to get more info from an experienced pit master
I had a pit boss pro 820 and it was the greatest smoker, I loved it it had P smoke. then I upgraded to a Pit boss pro 1150 V3. Biggest mistake of my life for smoking. I can't get a brisket to smoke right on this thing to save my life. I have tried 4 times, every time huge temperature swings. when it comes to temp it is always 40 degrees hotter. Should be 180 but it sits around 220 every time and as the smoke goes on it get event hotter. there is No Smoke Mode so you have to run smoke tubes. You have to add lava lock because it leaks out the lid. You have to have these inserts to try to get it to heat somewhat even. Now keep in mind I got this for my birthday on march so it is brand new. Worst birthday present ever> thanks Pit Boss If you wanted it back I would give it to please just come and haul it away! on my 820 I could not mess a brisket up but now it's one brisket fail after another. Depressing that I spent $700 at Lowes for pure junk. Why would you sell a model that has the name pit boss pro and then strip the only feature that would make it a Pro smoker??? I will Never deal with Pit boss again!
I have had the cs1250 for at least two years, has worked great, 1 screw that holds lid on 1 side kept coming loose, fixed that no problem,, I put down new aluminum foil over heat shield everytime I use, heat shield is nice and clean , sear steaks anytime and no grease fires, wheels ? No issue their . So You can't always make decisions based on youtube videos when the person making them does not know the difference between a flat blade and Phillips screwdriver. Make any smoker yours by doing modifications , I added Oklahoma Joes temperature gauges on each corner of the lid, I cut out the grate cover over where you put wood pellets in, and definitely buy a fitted cover for your smoker. I also got a piece of metal that went on the end of the heat shield that is closest to the temperature gauge built-in so that way I can distribute the heat more evenly and not have all the heat pour out right on that temperature gauge. Also get a pellet tube, I will burn charcoal pellets in that, Smoker in my opinion has done a great job at everything I have cooked. I clean the pellet burn bowl once I am done and it is cool. I don't want the ash to sit there and get damp with humidity and start degrading the burn Bowl .
Competition series
I wasn’t aware that there were cons to this lol.
This video is killing it for me Looking at all of these I wanted the pitboss or the members mark and still dont know which one i want.
I have a bullseye and it's a nice grill but. They are known to rust out badly. Sometimes within a cpl of years. Not all of them do, but it's something that can happen. The cause is said to be frequent use of riot mode and or salty areas. However a lot of people have claimed that their bullseye rusted out in non salty environments and without using rior mode. I just got another one that a neighbor was getting rid of. The barrel has a huge hole from rust and lots of smaller rust holes. I'm going to try out the weber kettle conversion on it.

Looks like the pros outweigh the cons comfortably.. I'm going to but the xl version in June.
Make sure you are 100% certain you want the one you order, they have a no return policy once you break the packing strapping.

no one is watching this video because you seem bias. The induction burner on the Traeger is a major factor. Its not just a burner but an induction burner for high sear cooking. Some might like it some might say its not for them but it is a feature. You also have to compare the components. The Traeger is using a higher quality digital thermometer. The Recteq is also a much bigger grill so it will cook more. If you need the space then its easy to pick a winner but you also have to consider how many times you will be doing a cook for your own family or personal cook and it would cost less to heat a small grill which will cost less on the pellets. So what I'm saying is it hard to compare because it depends on the user and what there needs are.
We simply compare pellet grills & smokers at a similar price point for their respective features, there is no bias, these are objective facts, not subjective opinions. With regards to the induction hob being a major feature, its a feature now available on a pellet grill with a price point of less than $500 (Member's Mark 36"). Obviously, individual users have different requirements and may choose to opt for a Traeger for their own reasons. What we are offering is a means for those researching a pellet grill/smoker to make an informed choice.
@@PelHeatDatabase the minhimum temp on a traeger is 165 not 180
Bought the recteq - fantastic service, 30 lb hopper, and better searing capability at higher temp along with stainless steel.
Cheers for the feedback.
I just ordered the recteq I was so close to going with the yoder because it’s American made but it was considerably more money
Cheers for the feedback.

Uh, I thought the Recteq was made in Georgia!?
Recteq is based in Georgia, but their products are not manufactured domestically, it simply wouldn't be possible for their price point.

Coyote can get temps up to 700. And your Recteq is not all 304 stainless steel.
I’m getting the Recteq for my bbq island - I’ve owned both Traeger & Recteq products & Recteq has far superior products
