@ you’ll be able to. All parts like that will be easy to find rebuild kits etc. Oem parts like a new cylinder or oem crank or transmission will be scarse that’s about it. Same thing happend on my RM 125 few months back

@@steelYZ65 they are closed for the wet season, and they don’t have regular practice days unfortunately, Best way is to check there Instagram page regularly when they open back up.

I commented halfway through your video when it sounded like the engine was stressed in 2nd gear. Later you found other gears. Remember how slick the seat was after you used WD-40 or Armorall on it lol

@@Dissentient01 yeah it is definitely not jetted quite right. It has lots of little issues, hopefully I can find parts to get it back to 100. Thanks on the front brake, I have never seen one run like that before, seem like a bad idea lol.

@@bmotomo421 it doesn’t have to be original at all. You can run whatever you want as long as it’s less that 150cc and a two stroke I think. They have a 250 class and a 500 class as well check them out on the web if you are interested. I don’t think they have posted this years race dates yet.

@fivetwentythreepov for sure Dunlop has a bunch of good choices. I have a bunch i have not tried. One because I hate changing tires and two I want to wear a tire out before I pull it off.

@fivetwentythreepov ya marketplace is terrible. I have only ever sold 1 thing on it. Everything else is just months of hassle with no sale. My Jeep is still listed a year later.🤣 Good luck dude. Get that 125 so it can be ready for the dream race.🔥🔥

@ thanks man, I keep looking, hope to get something a bit older, but fb is a pain, probably way easier to just go but a fresh Yamaha at the dealer.

@@TroyPokoj the 450 would have definitely been easier, partly cause I have been on it all year and it’s set up for me, but it would not have sounded nearly as good as the 300. So far the 300 has just been a really fun play bike for me. But I can’t wait to spin more laps on it as the weather improves.

@@thekevinator149 that pretty much sums up how I feel about cold weather riding as well.

@@andyd5515 still running the stock Mikuni carb, I think a 460 main and 30 pilot with the other needle, but I’m not 100% sure, i dialed this in way back in 2019 and ha it messed with it much. It’s not perfect for every condition, but close enough to keep from having to mess with it all the time and I don’t foul plugs with my riding style. I’m not sure why the Mikuni got a bad rap it has worked for me.

@ I tried to make the Mikuni work on my 2018 250xcw I bought back in 2019 while living in Bend. I could never get it it to run somewhat consistent. Did the jet block and a JD jet kit etc. sc2 36mm worked well on that bike the two years I owned it. A friends daughter now rides it after his son rode it for 3 years. Yours sounds pretty good in the vids I’ve watched.

@ I almost got the smart carb just to keep it crisp at all levels and temps, but heard it would cast you some low end so decided to stay with the carb. Its not perfect, but it doesn’t effect it enough to bother me, but I can tell I should probably tweak the jetting some for different conditions, but as long as it’s not too lean I can make it work lol. Sort of a “unicorn” bike. Has the updated chassis but still carbureted. Hardly ever see them for sale.

@@ModularMuscle i have not really found a good solution, I usually put down some old towels to minimize the mess, and I do a damp mop of the floor to clean it up some. I also use a hitch hauler during the winter some as it makes it easier to just swing by the car wash on the way home to clean the bike. And yes I have a carbureted 19 250xc and that thing is a rocket lol, but I’m not sure how the sx compares to the newer TBI xc’s. Thanks for watching 👍👍

@@TroyPokoj man that is cool you got to really test them out, I would love to do that and get a feel for what they are about. You will love this track I think, they change it up all the time and have lots said practice days during the dryer months. If only I loved a little closer.
