Very lovely, could go well with some more reverb^^
Scott, thanks for posting this, its wonderful! Keep posting! I am enjoying many of your other pieces as well.
I enjoyed that Scott! - Is that piece easy to pick up? Also what Organ do you have?
+ for the voice, - for the flip-flops :-)
"Thank You Scott" - You are so talented and I love hearing you play.
Ehh
Many thanks. I play it by ear having heard it so well performed.
Thanks for your comments. The arrangement calls for a lot of octave playing in the pedal which I largely omitted for the same reason. I also followed all the registration suggestions, and you can only do so much with a Yeti microphone..
I wish I could click "love" every time this makes my heart happy. Such a lovely little piece, and so well played.
Impressive playing. The registrations sounded 'muddy', the bass is / was over powering. Suggestion providing a contrast, one verse in between where you use a lighter flute setting. Avoid sounding like a pounding sledge hammer all the time - lighten up. Dr. Arthur George Scott
Who is Darwin Wolford?
Beautifully played. What is the Op. No. of this piece?
Lovely!
Thank you!

Boy those Quualudes are kicking in. Everything is so slow and mellow.
Beautiful! And the ending is awesome!
I changed the ending, except for the last 5 chords....😊
Bravo, j'ai 65 ans et je joue moins bien que vous, difficile la main gauche quand on était accordéoniste. Bonjour depuis la France.
Merci beaucoup! Sorry, that's all the French I know.....
Bravo, très joli et mélodieux.
Beautiful
Сложное исполнение, но очень красивое звучание!
Nicely done! 🎶
Thank you kindly!
A great recording! Very well played! I like it very much! Thanks for uploading! Greetings from Germany!
Thank you very much!
Beautiful
Playing this Sunday and am listening to various TH-cam recordings of it. Yours is my favorite- truly the only one played “With great calm” as Dale Wood indicated. Registration is excellent. Thanks.
Wonderful.
Wonderful.
Wonderful.
Beautifully played! I appreciate the lovely playing on my work too, but comments were turned off. So I’ll say it here… Thanks! 😊🎶😊
Being a descendant of strong pioneer immigrants who survived the trek west as members of Willey handcart company, this hymn has always spoken to my heart. Clay's arrangement is masterful and touching and is a joy to listen to, regardless of the organ upon which it is played. It however shines best when played on the Tabernacle organ under Clay's hands.
👍
Very nice! I like your creative tweaks! 😊🎶😊
Oh good, I was hesitant. Have a great weekend.
@@scottrowley79I’m always honored anytime someone plays my pieces, so have no worries!!! 😊
Dear Scott: Just discovered this delighted to hear. I was looking for a certain piece of music written by Wolford called "Lyric Arioso". I heard this piece played many years ago on the Music and Spoken Word, played by Tabernacle Organist Clay Christiansen. Are you familiar with this piece and if so, could you play it. Have not been able to find it yet on the net. Thanks. Greetings Canada.
I will look for it!
And thank you!
Hey Paul. I checked but do not own a copy of Lyric Arioso, and it isn't in the book of Wolford pieces that I own. Sorry I can't help you.
Thank you for sharing your recording. I had the great blessing of being taught by Dr. Bush and love to hear his arrangements.
Just lovely; the pure human voice; no fanfare!

Thank you
Nice work, Scott! 🎶😊🎶
Thanks for listening
Where is it located?
Sorry to be slow, Centerville, Utah
very nice piece! thanks for sharing
Scott, would you be willing to share a copy of this music with me? It’s impossible to find and the book it’s in is backordered and out of stock everywhere I can find online. I would appreciate is so much.
I can, however its all marked up with notes and markings. If you're good with that....
@@scottrowley79 I ended up finding a copy, but thank you!
Beautiful. What arrangment did you use. I would love to sing this!
Très beau
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Once again, I’m very honored with a beautiful performance of my work! Thank you so much! 😊🎶😊
I’m very honored, Scott! Your performance is outstanding! Thanks so much for playing this! 🎶🎶🎶
Beautifully done! Phil writes amazing music.
Loved these variations!
Scott, thanks for sharing this. Very well played. What details can you share about the organ your playing?
2005 Johannus WM-44. This was the first one installed in Latter-Day-Saint Chapels in the US. We bought it after it had successfully passed it's "audition". It has been voiced a few times toward a more "British" sound since then. Plus we replaced the Swell Trumpet with a new sample a few years after installation. It can be heard at the beginning back and forth with the now much more commanding Great Posaune. The organ has been completely reliable. It's never missed a beat, unlike me 😆

Thanks for another great performance of one of my pieces! Happy New Year! 🎶
Hopefully you're good with my messing about with it....😁
This is one of my favorites. Exceptional performance of your talent. Thank you.
Thank you sir!
