Climbing - YouTube vs Reality | ÖTK-Steig Hohewand - A Tough Via Ferrata in Eastern Alps
Wait for the second part of the video! It is quite revealing :-).
My friend Marek took me to one of the hardest Via Ferratae in Eastern Alps in Austria. Having gone through few routes of C/D difficulty together, he got the impression that it's time for something real. So we went for this D/E via ferrata in Hohewand in eastern Austria. I must admit the feeling was fantastic - at the end :-). But it gave me some really hard times. We didn't have much room for filming (as you'll understand from the video) but I put together at least this short wrap up.

Big Crew Sea-Kayak Trip

For this year's sea-kayak trip in Croatia we teamed up with Martin's colleagues, rented a minivan with trailer, and headed for the crazy four days. This time we slept in a camping and drove with the van to various locations. Contrasting to the last year's video which had an overwhelming 28 minutes, this one has only slightly above four minutes. Enjoy :-).

This was my first paddleboarding ever, and my friends took me right on the mighty Danube. After few local rounds of fearful balancing we set off to the main stream - firstly, I must admit, on my knees, but then straight up standing. I survived, it was an amazing experience, and I am looking for more SUP trips ;-)

Yep, at the ferry parking lot.
Where in Croatia did your start?
Unlike other years, when we slept each night at different location, this year we were based in the Rapoća Camping Village, and from there we drove to various locations each day.

😊 it was the hottiest summer in ten last years (according to locals), so we took the liberty of not wearing PFD at times - but striclty when the sea was very calm 😋. The same goes for spraydeck - I assure you we had it on when the waves came 😀
@@lazywanderer Shouldn't wear loose cotton shirts. Wear a rash guard made of synthetic materials.
