Over 100 fps on mine with the following settings. 1920 x 1200 Epic Preset RTX off DLSS Quality Frame Gen on I heard alot of bad things for the performance of this game, but it runs perfect for me. Maybe they patched it since release?

they loose a LOT in not letting us go from space to planetside ourselves.

i got a theory...bare with me...what you just saw (the arch) could be that starfield is the beginning of the borderlands universe...
Considering it doesn't have seamless space-to-planet flight, unlike a few space indie games, I wouldn't be surprised if Starfield only gives us a limited square slice of the planet to actually roam
God I hope you're right. 1000 full open world planets would be TERRIBLE for gameplay. Hopefully they provide focus.
@@lanceburnett27 It'd only be terrible for gameplay if you want a streamlined experience like their other games. Some games have chill and exploratory aspects, this could be one of them. Take No Man's Sky, for example. None of those planets are hand-crafted (to my knowledge). Granted, I'm sure this game wouldn't be just like NMS, but point being, not everything has to be hand-crafted. I personally welcome planets that don't have much to do except extract resources, explore, and fight mobs.
It does give us a chunk to explore only but not directly. You wont be travelling by foot so much as there is No way to have ground vehicles to go back to your ship you will be forced to go to ship to orbit then from orbit choose a new patch of the planet and land back in again and repeat. Its sad that there isnt any fluid landing features

It's got the famous Todd Howard's "It has 16x the detail!" empty marketing vibes on this trailer. Waiting for reviews might be best on this one because this looks great on the non gameplay parts but the gameplay looks 100% reskinned Fallout 4, just like what Fallout 76 is. Tweaked lighting and color palette can't hide the severely aging game engine from Fallout 4 either.
Waiting for reviews is ALWAYS the best move.

I have been using this unit for about a month and half. Previously i have mainly used pg27aqn I was bit worried about brightness at first cause many reviews pointed that out but to my surprise, the brightness is perfectly fine. It seems the reviews are bit overblown

How does it perform with games at 60hz with and without VRR? I looked at Rtings and they claim it has some overshoot. Did you experience any of that?
