Deborah Stokol is a bard, teacher, writer who shares music that draws from lore and her imagination to express ideas about the human condition.

I had the pleasure of trying out an Eastman octave mandolin at McCabe's a couple of weeks ago, and here's how it sounds while I play part of my song, "The Mermaid", lending itself comfortably to the sea shanty capabilities of this lovely instrument.
