The reason why the engines spool up a bit before takeoff is to stabilize them. Making sure they have the same thrust on takeoff. Has nothing to do with cold weather.

I'm just annoyed that having spent such a massive amount on this station, they couldn't connect it directly to the hospital. Instead it's a five minute walk outdoors in frequently rainy Bergen. More if you're in bad health which is hardly unlikely since, well, it's a hospital.

I took same flight from dubai ktm dubai and funny thing is this flight looks like local bus, there’s nothing for passanger besides one meal, no screen you can’t find out where you reached, no blanket no headphones no toiletries. If you want Drinks you have to buy from your pockets, I will never fly this plane now onwards.

I've been so excited for this! One of the designers said she hoped people would say "Let's meet at the yellow star", referring to the star constellation design on the floor at the underground stop and it does look like a great place to meet up with someone by using this new line. I'm going there tomorrow to see it with my own eyes! :)

Wow! This is vast and impressive. It certainly rivals any of the central underground stations of the recently-opened Elizabeth Line in London (which I've already used a number of times) I'm guessing journey times will have been cut massively?

previously I took a plane from Singapore to Taipei, I took the plane at midnight just to see stars up the sky but sadly don't have stars and windows outside is all black and cannot see a bit clearly.
