Phil playing the drums in one time signature and the vocal in another 🤪 I luckily saw them around this time in a tiny club in Retford , almost like seeing them in your sitting room , amazing gig
Holy cow!
My opinion - this song kicks ass 🤘Phil is brilliant with that consistent ride bell beat and the bass that drives the groove to its final stop.
OMG I yst saw that drumkit at Drumeo It is just THERE that is THE one
This is what I wanted from And Then There Were Three
Also those others that like metal as well, you should look up one of his last albums he made before he passed, it’s with Buckethead…Thats right, Buckethead!!! 🤘🏻Arcana is the band, Arc of the Testimony is the name of the album. He recorded it with Buckethead and Bill Laswell in 1997. Some double bass Tony Williams!! There’s also an album before that with a different guitarist.
Why does Phil Collins attract people with bad moustaches and bubble perms?
And to see Phil now....its hard to beleive he was such a huge musician and influence for so many. Masterful stuff, wonderfully English.

Was in the middle of watching Phi Collins: Drummer first and learnt about Brand X. Came here and was blown away... huge respect! I saw him on tour years ago, beinf a fan ever since
Geez, look at these credits at the end: Brand X, Mick Taylor, Ry Cooder, Fleetwood Mac and my personal favorite YMO all in one tv show episode. Can't imagine turning my TV on just to be strucked by these artists showing their new stuff. Incredible era, incredible music.
I have heard Brann Dailor of Mastodon say that he was influenced by Genesis and Phil Collins, but I never put 2 and 2 together until I watched this. Wow. The influence Phil had on Brann is unmistakable.
Phil Collins a genius of 2 very different musical universes: progressive rock and pop
존나 볼때마다 어이가없네진짜 하
Mr. Philip David Charlie Collins 🥁🎤🫡😎
💚💚
Phil Collins was great before he left Yes and started playing guitar for Def Leppard
Saw Phil do this on his first solo tour
Not full version but only on my channels, you can find full drum only versions :) and brand x too
I guess I never really understood this. To me it sounds not only out of tune but also lacking in group dynamics and strangely enough, a clear lack of tempo and sense of rhythm. They don't seem to be playing together. Perhaps it's the recording that's problematic.
3:32....wow...killer on drums!
Phil seemed to like sitting really low behind his kit, but his cymbals are at the right height …
Wow! I'd never seen this footage!........To think that Phil was already very established with one of the biggest working bands of the period. He didn't need to go do this career wise. But he really needed to scratch that fusion itch, so he went out and did it, really well !. I still dig those records they did.......and damn he had a crazy left foot!!. side note: I did cartage for Goodsall through the 90s with a band called the Firemerchants. He was always a nice guy, and I hadn't seen him in over 20yrs when I heard he passed. I believe Percy is still around playing?, and he's pushing 80!
It looks like John Goodsall doesn't use his pinky much when soloing. That's kinda interesting...
That decade was amazing for music and musicians. What a creative time.
First comment on this gem? Okay. Fantastic homage to Beck.
If you want to become a better musician, try to play along to Brand X.. Percy Jones has made me a much better bassist.
I saw Brand X at The Manor Ballroom in Ipswich early/mid 70's & all I can remember is the Percy Jones wasn't there?
By the way, the CS 80 is also in the game. 😊
I do like a bit of Brand X as long as Phil is not singing.
I know it's not Phil on drums but Black Moon off Masques is still one of my all time favourite toons ever!!!
We seem to share that! :)
I saw this show at the roxy in los angeles.
Wow... Came here off the back of the Drumeo Phil Collins special and that was an awesome little taste of these guys. I knew he was a cracking drummer from Genisis but he's bloody cooking here.
They get so many comments on Nuclear Burn, how they had no idea how good Phil actually was, that the Brand X fans start to get mad, and say, "there are other members of the band, you know!!"
Same here. Wow awesome.
bloody hell. those were the days
😮😮😮Phil sounding like Yusef Dayes ❤️🔥🙏👍
WOW!! I didn't know that Phil had it in him to play lie that. Prodigious work!
Grandissimo Phil & BX !!!
Awesome … I only recently learned of this band
Great group !
Holy shit, they had a CS-80
OGWT is incredible
Phil has done so much for music. But in that category i'd rather listen to Bill Bruford music.
Utterly atrocious. Tuning is dreadful also.
They were really at their pick... 40 years already.
I should have known early on when my sister played me Foxtrot when it came out. Didn't get it for some time, then I did.
Astounding
R.I.P. John Goodsall (11/11/21). He was an awesome guitarist
I'm a fan of Jeff. I saw him live once. But he verges on corny sometimes. Not an Allan Holdsworth is he th-cam.com/video/z-yfLEaC0AY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=LEEXgzZpgJnjTxH7
Awesome 😎
Musically has a lot of common ground with Tony Williams’ Lifetime (~5 years prior) with Allan Holdsworth..
