1967 321 Speedy today, on original Omega 1450 bracelet. My grail - wanted it for over 10 years, finally got it 5 years ago. Fully serviced 3 years ago by a 321 specialist. I also wanted a 1960s version because I was a kid in the 1960s. And to feel the memories rushing when I wear it.
I just got this watch a week ago and it’s amazing, so beautiful. Mine has some bezel play in it, is this the same on yours?
@@WM84629 No I do not have any bezel play in my watch that is noticeable. Did you buy yours used?
Old or new it's in the eye of the beholder. Love your watch. Thanks for sharing.
An automatic watch woulden't work in space. In space you have zero grafity. The rotor does nothing in space.
@@gregkollaeg2365 what I was thinking.
retarded video of marines doing typical shit 😂
Ah, you remind me of that saying that you can’t teach height. Here is a lesson from a fat guy: measure your wrist and before you purchase a watch online, send them the measurement. Or, ask them to send you the size of the strap and figure it out yourself. You could have exchanged the strap but you kind of ruined it. Costly lesson. Welcome to collecting watches.
Good review, however this is a moonwatch and it is suppose to be manual. This is the most beautiful watch ever made. Screw down pusher. OMG. Nooo! Don't mesh with perfection and timeless history
An automatic watch woulden't work in space you have zero grafity. The rotor dosen't move in space.
@@gregkollaeg2365 that's what I thought greg, but with wrist movement the rotor would wind the watch. I looked it up. lol
Beautiful watch ! The watch maker is so talented, great value for what your getting. Thanks for the review
Why didn’t you get the larger strap?
@@donschloth5785 I thought the regular straps would be fine, but not so much.
Right on! Great to see more Weiss content. 👍
@@maximumsavage4056 Surprisingly there is not a lot.
I really like the look of this watch, but it is beyond my budget.
@@rayseaman6204 I can understand that. It’s a bit expensive, but not out of reach with a little savings as compared to Rolex and Omega (among others).
They're not put up for sale very often, but it's possible to snipe a pre-owned one for a great price. I snagged one three years ago for $825 by monitoring Watchcharts marketplace (searches triple websites).
Love the review. I like the honesty of it. I'm considering picking one up in the new year and tried one on for the first time only last week. The bracelet blew me away. I did hear that they went with a manual wind for the lunar project because the rotar wouldn't spin on an automatic due to the lack of gravity.
@Riff4Raff That’s “The Watch” was stupid not buy the Hesalite limited edition 3500€ damnnnn stupid as I’m watch aficionado 😊 But amigo please don’t bash a 12/13 K and say a 500 $ watch is expensive it’s 12 times more expensive man ! That’s my only complaint about your video by the way it 5 Atmos WR or 50 meters water resistance at list man if you know Rolex “plus a fan as you say” and love Omega brand as well be humble 🆗 ! Not jealous ! Do love the older bracelet almost “Rolex President design” than this newer “vintage faux patina plus never compare 500$ with 12 plus $ K 😊🙈
I bought it and out of all my pieces it’s my favorite. I just wish it were safe to go into water with. It’s also the most comfortable piece I’ve ever had.
@@joaquinbarreto9398 likewise. If it was more water resistant it would be close to perfection.
@@Riff4Raff exactly
Hi! But I think it should be. I mean, the current model is - in deed - water resistant to 50 mts (5 bar). It’s ok to put it under water occasionally. However, my watches don’t ever get in contact with water… I have three Seamasters and they don’t even know a drop of water 🙄
Absolute stunner!! I own a A17321 1st Gen Superocean Heritage, mesh bracelet divers with a steel bezel are absolutely pure class, prefer them over the blingy ceramic bezels and ceramic dials on Omega. From Seamaster line this is their best watch ever! The He valve is iconic just like the Subs Cyclops lense. Cool review, Cheers!
Couldn't agree more!
What a beautiful watch! Enjoy your Weiss in good health.
It‘s called Hesalit.
The bracelet is magnificent especially the shiny middle links on the Sapphire Sandwich. Have both the Black and White 3861’s. 👏🇦🇺
@@BuzzOff. One of my favorite bracelets at the moment and maybe the best speedy bracelet to me of all time.
My algorithm brought me to this video. I've got the Speedy with white dial. Great piece. Side note i see you're page is 03xx. I'm guessing you're a fellow jarhead. Rah!
@@jvc707 Thanks for watching. Yes I am and I was originally going to change the name of the channel, but haven’t yet. Maybe in the future (more of just a casual page as of right now).
@@Riff4Raff hey brother keep doing what you're doing. I'm a fairly new Omega fan boy with a Speedy and 300m diver. Looking forward to see more of your content. SF Devil
You should have chosen hexalite closed bottom!
I almost did for that original vintage look and vibe.
I had the hesalite, but was so afraid of scratching the glas all the time. I have the saphire today, suits me better.
Great review. I have this watch and it’s probably the one I reach for the most.
Likewise. I own a few other watches, but this one is my go to for the most part (at the moment).
Awesome video buddy, completely agree with everything you said, I've owned this watch since 2022 and still love it.
Thanks. It’s a great watch and I hope to wear it for many years to come.
The hands offer little to no contrast in low light, making it impossible to tell the time, say, sat in your lounge. Looks beautiful, but I sold mine for that reason.
I bought it becoz of that. It looks amazing on the wrist. I use my phone for time telling😂
@@gavinwhite9743 I can understand. I think the subdued look is what I like so much about it, but it also makes it a bit more difficult to read in low lighting like you mentioned. Without a charge and all loomed up of course.
@@russellseah2347 that I can respect! Its beautiful as a watch, and, if I'm honest, I keep checking secondary prices for a possible buy back scenario! I'm waiting to see the new black Seamaster first however.
Beautiful. I have the black one. I am jealous.
@@AcmeRocket Solid choice.
I’d pick the silver dial
Never seen it in person until now and its beautiful.
Very difficult choice
Yeah, but its a good problem to have lol.
@@Riff4Raff lol true. Would you pick the panda or the all black version? can't decide between the 2.
@@ayobro3055 I really like both. It depends on you and your wrist size in a way. Most black dial watches tend to look/wear smaller on the wrist (42mm watches do not work for everyone) as well as black dials go with almost everything. My wrist size is almost 7 1/2 inches so my wrist is fine with 42mm. I think the overall classic is the black dial that you can’t go wrong with, but the white dial is beautiful and I think the contrast with the black bezel makes it stand out way more to me. If you can pull off a 42mm well and already have some black watches the white might be the one for you. I do prefer the white over the black, but in an odd way I would go with the black just for the classic look and versatility of the watch and what clothing I wear.
Great looking field Watch from a legit American brand, congratulations
Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised. I always like to support American craftsmanship.
Mc has a better normal infantry but if you want to do hot boi sht I'd reccomend army airborne and maybe rasp if you're really about it
