Thanks for your question! May dalawang type ang asset account: current at non-current/long term asset. Ibig sabihin na kung Ang asset ay Isang current account ay pwede itong magamit within one year pag ang asset ay Isang non-current o long term ibig sabihin more than one year pa sya magamit. Ito Ang mga account na tinatawag natin na current asset dahil sa kanilang order of liquidity: cash and cash equivalents, short term investments o tinatawag na trading securities, accounts receivables , inventories and prepaid expenses. Example of non-current assets ay Ang PPE and intangible assets. Ang ibig sabihin Naman Ng liquidity Ng Isang company ay Ang kakayahan nyang magbayad Ng kanyang mga utang sa pinakamadaling panahon at ma-convert Ang current assets into cash within short period of time to meet the unexpected needs of cash. Sa liabilities naman ay may dalawang category o type: current liabilities at non- current liabilities. Current liabilities ay ang mga obligations o utang Ng company na malapit Ng mag due at dapat bayaran within a year o business cycle. Ang non- current liabilities naman ay yong matagal pa ang due. sa liabilities naman ay yong shortest term to longest term Ng maturity o payment period Ng pagbabayad.

Yes, pwede mag mark-up cancellation as long as hindi lagpas sa original selling price para safe yung profit mo pero kun mag-decide ng markdown for example old stock na or defective meron parin kunti na profit maiwan. Yan ang strategy during sales ng mga malls hindi sila bababa sa cost ng product. Tingin natin ang bait ng mga business men pero meron pala profit kunti.
