What type of cut off tool are you using? I've looked for Dewalt battery powered every and have come up empty. Also what specific blade? Happy Riding!

The moment I saw you pulling that fiberglass out with no mask on being that up close, and then when you wheel out your bike and fire it up you can actually see airborne pieces floating around everywhere around you, not good brother. You were breathing that shit in.

The hole saw would worked than the disk if you had used a good ac powered drill,. The disk is designed to cut in a perpendicular angle to its edge
Why not just fire up the bike and blow it all out?

It’s compact in there. Lol it won’t come out that easy. His actually came out smooth. I had to rip mines out piece by piece

Tank decal I bought at harley davidson dealer for $10bucks, I did have to cut it to fit
With baffle removal? Do gain or lose HP and do you need to get a tuner even if you remove baffles? Just purchased a 2022 bones stock RGS , parts are backed ordered..

Cool...but 1 question....in all of these videos that I come across about removing baffles, why don't any of you just remove the muffler from the bike, then work on them? Put a moving blanket in the jaws of a vise and boom! You guys are off the ground! Also....you have a clear path on both ends. Happy riding!
Why make extra work? It would take longer to take the exhaust off than it does to take the baffles out.

For those asking about negatives, or tuning, yes there are negatives, you will lose torque unless you tune it, but that’s the same as putting on aftermarket tips without baffles, and if you still have a factory air box you won’t get much out of a tune, other than compensating for the easier breathing of your motor. To do it right, you should buy a better air cleaner, and get it dyno’d after, this just saves you the $400 on pipes.

Do you have to get the bike tuned after doing this? I have a 2019 Electra glide and I’ve had a few people tell me that you must have it tuned after removing the baffles
I haven’t had any issues, I’ve done it to a 2019 one as well and it’s fine

Yes and you will have less power than if you left them in and did a tune

The amount of torque you loose is very insignificant compared to power gained. The stock mufflers are beyond choked up

Went from losing to my fatboy by 4 bike lengths to about a bike and a half by removing the baffles on one of my harleys. So that’s not always the case

can you tell me what is the diameter of the smaller end of the baffle?
Did you notice performance cut or increase?
Performance was way better with the makita 3in disk over the hole saw
