Thoughts on Studio Drummer? I have Modern Drummer but I keep reading that Studio Drummer is better in every way - more grooves, better sounding kits etc?

I've also been producing for a long time and the first tip I give to anyone that want to start producing is that whatever the excuse is, spend time in your DAW. A tutorial, an idea, a new vst or sample pack... It's important that it becomes a hobby in the first place.

what is guitar rig preset that u use for ur guitar strumming n melody?

A trick you can do that I use for double tracking guitars is group your doubles panned left n right, and set your amp sim mode to stereo so you can reduce processing load and maintain settings and then for different sections i just make subgroups (i.e GTR1 -> A, B, C, D, ...).
