I'll try and post the dim link, but I'm not sure how it'll work: dim.gg/lpqyrky/Bow-Glaive-Strand-Hunter-SikPuppy Id highly highly recommend not farming vengeful, I did the same thing and grinding for hours upon hours for it, but its just not worth it over bows like hush, accrued, and non-denouement as they can get gambit which is miles better than anything vengeful can get. Prior to hush I used a vengeful with high ground which was great as it was pre nerf and could allow for 1c1b as well as 1 crit into threaded spike, but i really dont see any use case for it anymore until threaded blast comes back into the artifact

No way, its Chess King!! :D Honestly, I'd say that actually using and learning to hip fire bows is fairly easy, but its mainly the movement that is the true skill gap in bows as you can play so much more vertical compared to other weapons. Strafe jump is def good on bows but I wouldn't say its necessary at all. I think the hardest part about using bows is actually have a usable roll considering you kinda need the 5/5 or 4/5 for it to be usable :)

@@ChessKing151 I would definitely recommend against playing gambit now that accrued and non-denouement exist. If I had non-denouement crafted I'd definitely use it, the origin trait is much much better at the cost of a subjectively worse model

haha, cheers dude. And yeah, I am on m&k, I dont know of anyone that can achieve the same results hip firing on console unfortunately. All the console bow users I know barely hip fire at all and effectively just quick scope especially with lightweights

Dont feel bad, its not you. bungie just forgot how to make weapons that shoot straight from the hip. Im a bow main on controller, and have just given up on trying to make hip fire work.

@ its funny because I was somewhat trying to emulate the hynra playstyle, bow - glaive but on strand warlock, the movement just isn’t there (or my ability). Then you and another guy just come flying in and gave me a reality check real quick. Was awesome to see gg’s

@@bradpoynter1776 I tried strand warlock with bow/glaive as well, but it just didnt work lol. Definitely wouldnt recommend warlock unless its on solar as the only reason strand hunter works is because of being able to draw/hold-draw with bows while jumping, and also using ensnaring slam to quickly get back to the ground if youre caught off guard in the air (which is frequent). Honestly even tho I love strand hunter, I think if you wanted to use bow, solarlock is the best choice 99% of the time

Side note: I tried this when u gave me the build, I love using it, bow headshot into a throwing knife cleanup is endlessly satisfying.
