Omg yes we loved the ribs❤❤❤❤
Hey mate, great video, just the one question the flooring board how did you secure that down to the floor? Because you have 12mm board with carpet, did u then just use adhesive glue or you screwed it down Cheers
Cheers for comment mate I used self tapping screws into the box section in the tray itself.
@@Leys_adventures thanks mate much appreciated, keep up the good work 👍🏽
When will you tell us about the chassis change, which is one spect of the van we did not like. Also are you charging any of the water tanks. As we thought it was not enough water
Hey Roxanne, we’ll be releasing a video very soon with a rundown. We have a pick up date so stay tuned 🤩
Looking forward to the next video.
Mate of all the you tubers about this sort of stuff I really like what your doing easy to follow and your using affordable gear that just about everyone can afford. This is my set up but instead still got the kings Tub Rack would love the kings box one day just like yours 🤞🤞🤞🤞🙏
Cheers mate, I try to be as informative as possible. If you have any questions at all don’t hesitate to reach out. 🤙🏼
I love your wife’s comment about your measurements.
Hi Ho,Hi Ho On Adventures You Will Go. Nice Work Folks.
Blue/Black
Grey/silver 🍻
How much was the canopy?
Bloody hell, you have made it all look quick and easy but I know it's a huuuuuge job. Loving the content, I hope all the hard work pays off big time 🤙
Thanks man! If only it was as easy as it looks 😂 That would be the life! Thanks for watching, can’t wait to get this beast finished and on the road 🤝🏼
Bussy mc busface 😂
This is a great series mate, really enjoy the work you're doing. Great step by step explanations as well. Jack of all trades 👌👌
Cheers man! Definitely pays to know a little of everything. Glad you’re enjoying mate, can’t wait to get this beast on the road 🤝🏼🤙🏼
MW canopy like mine...
19:20 is it ok to cable tie the wire to the brake lines? Looks like your going on top but can't see how.
Thanks for your comment, there is an existing body loom that runs along that side of the car which I have zip tied to that existing body loom. Definitely don’t recommend zipping it to the Brake Line. Cheers for watching.🤙🏼
Interested in how the internal wiring for the rtt went. You mentioned in part 1 I think about switch to disconnect everything, etc. also what the usb plugs were mounted in, etc. I’m about to do the same. Always good to compare methods and products. Cheers.
I'd name the bus AUTOMINER or AUTOMINE
Sweet. Love motor homes. I have a dream to travel around Australia in a primer mover.
Thanks for watching man! Can’t wait to finish off the bus and get her on the road 🤙🏼
Good to see you have a quality ute!✔️✔️✔️
true
Well that's just not true at all 😂
Really enjoyed the little build series did a good job man looks nice
Cheers thanks for watching 🤙🏼
Where did you wire the blue wire on the dcdc charger?
The blue wire is trigger connected to an ignition power supply only turns on only when car is on. The wire we connected to the fuse box inside car under the steering wheel. 🤙🏼 thanks for watching.
Good Vids mate, look forward to seeing your subscribers growing.
Thanks 🤩 mate we appreciate your support.🤙🏼
What size is the canopy and tray?
Cheers for your comment, The canopy is a service body tray is built into the canopy. 1800W x 1800L 1600 canopy internal. 🤙🏼
😏😍🤜🤛🥰😍🤩🥳🤯🤠😎😼💥🛻💨🎉🎊🥇💯💝🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤😼💯💯💯💯💯💯💯♥️💕💓💞💗💖💖💝👋🤟🤘✌️🤙👌
❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤💯💯💯🥰🥰🖤💝
Never seen someone use the canopy as the tray before. Good idea interested to see how it works out. Wicked video getting inspiration for my kings fittout 🤙🏻
Awesome build really enjoying here, what’s the pros can cons off ruining the insulation vs none at all
Thanks for watching, it dramatically reduces the heat inside the canopy keeping the fridge from working overtime and keeping your battery’s at a lower temperature. That’s the pros if you decide to not use it you would see much higher temperatures as mentioned your battery would suffer over time and performance.🔋The fridge would also be working harder than usual.
Can we get a 'basically' counter on your next video cheers 😂
Try counting how many times he says "Righto"😅
THANK YOU FOR DETAILED VIDEO AS GREAT WATCHING
Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video 🥰
The hardkorr lights come with a wireless remote, i've got one myself that attaches to my set of keys. Was exactly what i was after and does the trick.
Awesome cheers mate, 🤩 I will jump on the website now a get some. Definitely sounds like a great addition.🤙🏼
You got me with the bloody drawer mate, I seen the thing, and straight away went to go bloody look it up before you said something 😂
Thanks for watching. 😆I thought it might raise a few eyebrows. 😅 definitely not a cheap drawer. Has a lot of nice features tho.
Just about guarantee they'll release one next month
Dude same, i was like what! Something other than a titan drawer!
Just the video i needed! Im planning in doing this in the next few weeks and know exactly how im going to do it now. What carpet did you use?
Awesome 🤩 mate, thanks for watching. We got the carpet from Bunnings, if I was to build another canopy in the future I think I will use a product called. UDek most commonly used in boats there is loads of different types colours and custom designs you can choose from. For around about same price range. keep an eye out for this week’s build 3pm Wednesday.🤙🏼
@@Leys_adventures Cheers! Looking forward to it!
Omg I’m a girl hahahahahahah and I literally like never go fishing hahha😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
IS the foil board self adhesive and what thickness did you use?
Hey Damo, thanks for watching the Foil Board is 20mm and is non self adhesive. You can put few spots of glue here and there if you decide to use this product. I however didn’t as it’s very firm when pressed into place. Cheers for your comment. 🤙🏼
It was spitting when you were unboxing the RTT...was it soaking wet inside the tent when you opened it already? 😅
Cheers for your comment thanks for watching🤙🏼 funny you say that when we picked it up from kings they were outside in the rain. Nevertheless no moisture in this one. 😅
@@Leys_adventures give it time 🤣
@@wozzyb80 definitely not my idea of a RTT. If was going on our own car would have to be 23zero🤙🏼 Got to keep the customer happy. 😆
Doing well lads.....except for the awful, horrible sound track you've used. Surely you could have chosen something better than that annoying crap.....honestly I nearly turned it off as I couldn't stand it 😅
Good work guys. An interesting build and similar to what Im doing over the next 3-4 weeks hopefully. Are you confident that screws into the aluminium frame will hold once you hit the corrugated roads and tracks? I like the foilboard - will use that in mine too. Keep up the good work. Doug
Cheers for the comment Doug, I have built the canopy on our dmax the same way we have been on countless corrugated roads not to mention the oodnadatta track. We have had no issues at all. The build is for a good mate of ours it’s just a weekend set up for him for now. You could however if your worried about screws coming loose is use few spots of sika flex. Thanks for watching there will be 2 more episodes coming out over the next few weeks.🤙🏼
Nice rig brother!! congrats on the purchase... I wonder how much is the weight ...
Thanks mate,🤙🏼 The tare weight is 2870kg ATM of 3.5T ball weight is 175kg. Thanks for your comment.👍 We are looking at a completion date 📅 of early July this year. 🤩
Hey mate, thoughts on using an air gap between your foilboard or you reckon it won't make too much difference?
Thanks for your comment mate, it won’t make a difference at all as the foam is thick enough to absorb the heat to keep it insulated. On the other hand tho if you are worried about condensation and moisture build up, might pay to leave an air gap, I have just loosely put them ones up no glue. Hopefully that helps answer your question? 🤙🏼
THANK YOU FOR VIDEO AS GREAT WATCH DETAIL VIDEO WHY DID WIRES UNDER THE COVER BEFORE ON THE COVER HERE?
Thanks for watching cheers for your comment, I’m terribly sorry mate I’m not sure I understand what your question is?
I thinks he’s saying why didn’t you run cables for your 12v set up before putting the panels in ?? Great vid by the way mate loving the journey 👌
Fedex man is struggling, what's thing weighing?
God bless you from BALI INDONESIA...🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
Thank you 🙏🏼
Any reason you didn't go for a house panel rather than the 3 small ones?
On house panels the voltage is too high for the mppt in the dcdc. Redarc are restricted to 32V, kings 36V max solar input.
Thanks for your comment.🤙🏼 All explained in the upcoming episodes we are just using kings gear 25amp DCDC charger. It’s more efficient to use multiple panels then one single panel. Hopefully that answers your question
THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO AS GREAT WATCHING THE VIDEO
Just subscribed. So excited to see more! My Ute is still mostly stock (apart from a rear bar/roof racks/light bar) so I’m curious to pick up some pointers from you guys along the way 😊
Cheers for the sub mate! We’re excited to get more of this build under way 😍🤙🏼
