Awesome job! And, great film angles! It took a while to understand/appreciate your layout.
Wow !!
Thank you 🙏
Amazing.
Thank you 🙏
You are very talented. Skill level is out of bounds.
Thank you 🙏
🔥🔥
Thank you 🙏
Wow
Thank you 🙏
Beautiful job! True master. What color are those stripes? they look silver to pearl white. Not sure!
Thank you 🙏, They are silver with silver pearl
it's got a lot of really interesting like 20s art Deco shapes i dig it
Thank you 🙏
No glowing ??? I’m trying to the light show from the luminor paint
What nozzle size to spray that heavy of a flake? 2.5?
I used a 2.0
What chrome paint is that?
It’s JTD true chrome, It’s a not available to the public yet. So far only available to industrial wholesalers
work of art
You got it. Classy oldskool insanity. Absolutely perfect...Respect🛸🎯😁
Thank you 🙏
Nice very nice
Thank you 🙏
Damm👍🏽 i want to know whats the price for a work of art like that?
I’m retired from paint but I would say 5k-25k. It all depends on who you go too.
Phenomenal!
Thank you 🙏
Man...incredible work and excellent choice of color scheme. Muy firme!
Thank you 🙏
Respect the technique!!!!!💯
Thank you 🙏
What's the color code?
The paint code is 183/9183 Magnetite Black pearl 2012 Mercedes Benz C250 coupe
I'm here thanks to Hemmings Motor News and as others have said, not into this particular style or color, but, dayum, watched you do your magic from start to finish - excellent work! Your presumably years of experience and tons of patience is admirable. Keep up the great work, I'm sure your customers appreciate it VERY much!
Thank you 🙏
I’m glad I can show the process of these very labor intensive projects. I hope to show a lot more very soon.
@@jasontoneydesignz3068 I've always wanted to be able to paint a car on my own, albeit scaled down (I have a 58 Ford Fairlane) but, between lack of time and money, yeah, once I retire I'll reconsider it lol. I get the basic idea of laying down the paint, but seeing the depth you achieved is beyond epic level imho
@@MikeT-TheRetiredColonel you can do it. Just take your time and learn the basics. Once you learn the basics start with a small model car and work your way up from there. You’ll be glad you did it in the end. Good luck on getting the 58 Fairlane done.
Looks awesome is that done or do you sand that and spray more clear
Thank you 🙏! It’s done , only sand and polish at this point. 6 coats of clear is more than enough to protect the art work from scratches down the road.
@@jasontoneydesignz3068 thanks man I see alot of people sand then flow coat the way you do it saves alot of work would really like to see a video on color sand and buff thanks again
@@sll-tt6bj I’m working on a video for colorsanding and buffing that will also be in the how to series. It’s a very easy process to do once the steps are shown.
I did a fair amount paint and airbrushing back in the back. I can truly appreciate the effort it takes to do something like this.
Thank you 🙏
When you 1st sanded with 500 dry you didn't have to put additional clear to bury the gold ice pearl?
No Clearcoat but 2 coats of intercoat base on top of the gold pearl before sanding.
@@jasontoneydesignz3068 Always wanted to work in a shop like that just to help out
really enjoyed the video
@@sll-tt6bj The shops that do this kind of work are always looking for help. Start with a collision shop to learn the basics of painting. There are also classes you can take all round the world to learn these techniques. Ill be posting more videos soon as a series of How to’s.
@@sll-tt6bj thank you 🙏 glad you liked it
one word, "WOW!!!"
Thank you 🙏
takes a lot of hard work, patience, skill and practice to do this but i don't see the appeal, people like it?
Thank you 🙏
OK the first fail is to now show the full car before starting the paintwork.
Thank you 🙏 for your input
Ruined a beautiful car
Thank you 🙏 for your input
Yeah I get it, you want a perfectly boring car lots of those already exist.
@@DooDeeDew not a bad look if you got 25 guys with big red rubber noses crawling out and throwing candy and balloons to the kids.
shut up Bob Ramey
Is that windshield sealed with silicone? The back glass was beautifully done, but the windshield strip lookin rough... Absolutely sick paint job tho.
Thank you 🙏 ! The windshield hopefully got fixed after I was done.
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Use to see all those custom painted cars in auto shows at the War Memorial back in the 1970's. It is impressive work to say the least but most of the cars were downright gaudy...way overdone. SOOO much metalflake. Very cool on motorcycle tanks and helmets but not so much cars. Not loving this one here either.
Thank you 🙏 for your input. I also have muscle cars videos on my channel also.
The hardwork and patience to create that artwork is admirable! Incredible job! Respect!
Thank you 🙏
Jason, where are you located? I'm interested in getting this same candy effect over a full carbon 2 seater car in chocolate brown. Any rough idea of what someone would expect to pay for a finish like this over the surface of a small 2 door car? Thanks in advance for entertaining a random youtube comment section solicitation, lol.
I’m a traveling circus but if you can tell me where you are I can locate a shop near you that can do the job. I have access to tons of shop around the world and paint companies that employ plenty of people that can do the job. I’m only one person but I know a lot of good painters.
Im not into this style of paint job at all, but your craftsmanship is extremeley impressive.looks amazing
Thank you 🙏
Welcome!!! Keep on doing what your doing

MAN words cant say what i want to say here writing this so you man are the MICHELANGELO OF THE CUSTOM PAINT WORK WOW ISNT PRAISE ENOUGH around the rear window the foging you give it so so much depth 3 D effect AMAZING LOOKING FORWARD TO WATCHING MORE OF YOUR VIDS THANKS FOR THE NO NONSENSE NO MUSIC NO TALK JUST THE WORK IN HAND T Y
Thank you 🙏, I have more videos on the way soon.
Not my type of car, but MAN. AMAZING job
Thank you 🙏
Very very NICE 😮

1 YEAR AGO????????!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF😮
It was released out side the US but so to be in the US.
@@jasontoneydesignz3068 dear sir, please make more how-to content. Unique content for sure, but no DETAILED instructions for rookies like me 👀🥺
@@diamonddetails9445 we are in the process of making and editing those videos now and plan to start up loading by the end of the year.
Wow!
Thank you 🙏
Beautiful…I could look at this roof for hours. The sealant around the windshield is looking extra shabby now though.
Thank you , the windshield sealant had nothing to do with me. LoL 😂 Hopefully they fix it later
Hahaha….Yep I figured there was no way you were involved with that.
What is the name of your brown tape.i can't find it on line
It’s FBS Tape and you can find it at coastairbrush.com
How was this possible!! Tesla is notorious for not letting you do anything without them. This is wiiilld
There were tesla people that were a phone call away on this project. Inside wasn’t touched much.
How much would this cost? Curious what the creator of the work would charge for this roof to be done?
I’m a retired painter now but in todays money it would cost a minimum of $8,000 to beyond. Materials alone would be $2500 in clear coat, candy paint, reducers, tape, time, paper, and shop labor. The original Idea i had for this car had to be reduced because of the shop the car was at. I had gold leaf planned and pinstripes but never got to do it because of budget and time restrictions. I now only build cars for myself and will be releasing videos of those projects soon.
That car so wett it has water 💦 jealous perfection at its finest nice job
Thank you 🙏
What is the base green color? It is gorgeous!
Thank you 🙏 the base color is silver for the candy but green for the line work.
Wow that is skill well worth being proud of Sir. Bet it took a lot of hours of practice and hard work to get there. Beautiful car.
Thank you 🙏, It did take years to get to this level but it is possible for just about anyone to get to this level with the proper dedication and time. Don’t give up if you plan on doing this kind of work.
beautiful results, great job!
Thank you 🙏
Mrs Richards: " I paid for a room with a view!" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) " That is Torquay, Madam." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"
