"Politicians don't fight wars, they just start them and then leave it to the working man to do the fighting on their behalf. I suspect that if politicians were left to fight the wars they began, then there would be far fewer wars."
Black people have such a bad reputation in America I would never go to America as a black person. Putin hasnt murdered no black people like the racist Americans even the law kills black people so what you talking about.
PEACE & Shalom 🌺🤍
We must remember the Nazi SS victims who killed Jews and Gypsies because they were victims too, right?
you people are a disgrace
Honestly, people will complain over anything. Let people wear their red poppies, plus they remember both their families and the troops, and the thing about representing people of other races is nonsense we remember everyone already now stopping saying to not celebrate remembrance day i will celebrate it with respect for everyone but keep wearing your white poppy or whatever
It doesn't represent everyone, that's not true. The Royal British Legion and the red poppy are commemorating the war dead from the ARMED FORCES of the UK and Commonwealth only.
Disgusting
All sounds great, but it's the people in power that's causing these wars not the general population. There is no money in peace, it's about control of resources, banks and the dumbing down of nations and turning them into obedient little sheep. This is the reason why these elites creative divisions against people of color, creed and gender. If everyone collectively stood together, then the evil that is ruling us wouldn't stand a chance.
White poppies are for woke idiots. Wear the red one with pride
I’m so glad to see the new design still has “PEACE” inside the green centre. I wear a red and a white poppy every year, to remember all victims of war.
What a. wonderful man - such common sense - such humanity - superb intelligence.
I find him so boring and dull.
Out of context shekket you snow fake
I always wear a red poppy; I wouldn't, for my own part, wear a white one, but I respect unreservedly anyone's right to.
Disgusting human being, with low morals.
Isn’t she a TLDR host?
Yup
Now she is. When she gave this speech she wasn't with them. She's apparently still in school for the rest of the year and then who knows if she will still be working with TLDR.
Yeah she has a very empty head but is pretty to look at

I think, this should be LOBBIED FOR: ALL around; the [very]_Globe. -M.K.S.
Your voice reached poland in 1986 so refreshing still love you restless soul in peace
What a bore
A talentless token.
Brought up in care, I found out when I was 66 that my father had been a conscientious objector in the war.
Amazing......i have never heard such poetry and common sense.....i will certainly wear mine with pride in the future......
Goodness me, the red poppy remembers the fallen whoever wherever they may be. The colour of blood. Its symbolism for me is just as you describe the white poppy to be. Your voice is true and heartfelt and I respect you for that. The road to peace can only be achieved through love . I wonder if the members of Hamas want peace, or just love hate. RIP dear fellow, may your voice be heard.
There is no way to peace, peace is the way. pure genius so few words I’ll always remember them.what a beautiful person god bless❤
Me too!
The red poppy is for our dead dont show respect make sure you don't bring race into it because we are sick to death of this race baiting crap.I will always wear a red poppy ,god bless our uk dead.wear a red poppy you know it makes absolute sense.
At no point did he make this about race
I'll remember the day I spent with Benji in Sarajevo for ever and ever ❤
Absolutely appalling
I wear a red poppy i was brought up to remember our people our allies and our enemies who died in war.
Likewise, I see it as a mark of respect for our fallen. I can't help thinking Benjamin is being somewhat provocative in encouraging people to change to white. I feel as though this man is duplicitous. A secret anti-white reactionary.
👎
Half the whole world seems at war and climate change is a big enough challenge... #PeaceEverywhere
If only the world had been graced with thousands more like this great man, sad loss to humanity.
There are thousands of us, we are dismissed as nutjobs.
If there were there would have been a lot of burglaries and stealing and then when those thousands got out of jail never do a days work on their life.🙄
I always wear a white, a red and a purple poppy every year, to commemorate the animals, service personnel and civilians killed in war. I certainly did not need to be lectured about it. It is my choice yo wear them but if others choose not to, that is also their choice.
Perfect message this is why i say man you gone Nowhere your Present remain right here Rest up Brother
Nasty racist little man, not sure why he even stayed in Britain if he cant stand the people or place.
Stfu, stop pretending like our society is perfect.
Rip
Live in Britain but don't be British.......or sensitive to them......
This amazing man became a regular to listen to after I read his obituary on bbc . Why did I not know about his profound thoughts? Thing is we humans wage wars but no one remembers the peril of wildlife like I do I grieve it every time there’s a man made war. He is the only person I know who mentions wildlife in a war. Respect and sorry I didn’t know you in life . ❤
Truth, simple, direct, full of humanity & the warmth of one love! RIP Benjamin Zephaniah, here are a few more peace quotes to add to BZ’s “until the power of love is stronger than the love of power, the world will not know peace!” (widely accredited to Jimi Hendrix), “teach peace” (urban graffiti; anon), “ I am already against the next war!” (Anon) & “all we are saying is give peace a chance!” (Yoko Ono & John Lennon). Peace will not be “out there” until it is within each of us! Namaste. Thanks for all the good stuff Ben, you are already sorely missed. ❤ PS if you can add to these quotes or know more accurate refs for the above please feel free to update. Thnx.
RIP BOO FKING HOO
Best get me one of those then
Rest in peace. Thank you Benjamin ❤
The remembrance poppies will forever be red. I remember 💋
Interestingly in 2014,some ex military men wore white poppies walking to the cenotaph with the banner ‘Never again’.Although the red poppies came after seeing them come up from war torn ground where soldiers had fallen and is just to remember so many who died across the commonwealth. It’s certainly not supporting war.
Rest in peace Benjamin
How heartening! This man was a blessing to the world.
Not so much to women and houses.
Same old dividing tactics that the Left use to gain the moral high ground. The red poppy is already the symbol of All lives lost in war,but then again I suppose this bloke had to make himself relevant otherwise he wouldn't get any publicity.
Its great to preach peace benjamin, but what hapoens when tyrants take over. Utopia is a fantasy. Rip
